AppFollow hits 10B tokens on OpenAI's API (and we got a plaque for it!)
Table of Content:
OpenAI sent us a commemorative plaque for processing 10 billion tokens through their API. It's now sitting in the AppFollow office in Helsinki!
Ten billion tokens is a lot of text. Every single one represents an app review that got analyzed, an automated response that got generated, sentiment analysis performed, or an AI summary created. This all accumulated as thousands of app developers used AppFollow's AI features to handle their app store reviews.
What this means to us
In the words of our CEO and Co-founder, Anatoly Sharifulin: "Our customers are getting a lot more done with less effort. The AI understands how to communicate with users in a way that feels right. It handles thousands of routine responses so support teams can spend their time on the complicated stuff that actually needs a human. We're seeing teams manage 10 times the review volume with the same number of people. What this plaque really represents is all the reviews that got answered and all the problems that got spotted early for customers' apps."

App review management is a pain when you do it manually. Popular apps get thousands of reviews every week across different stores and languages. AppFollow's AI tools read all reviews, spot complaint patterns, detect new issues, and generate responses that sound like they came from a human.
How it works
Our AI Summary feature reads reviews from any time period and gives you a written breakdown of what's happening. AI Replies handle the volume by responding to reviews based on your rules, with each response rephrased so you're not copy-pasting the same message over and over. Semantic analysis automatically sorts reviews into categories like crashes, payment problems, and feature requests.

"We're not the only company using AI for customer support, marketing, and data processing. But we've been doing it for app reviews specifically. The tools are built around real problems that app developers deal with. Too many reviews, multiple languages, different app stores with different systems, you name it. Trying to keep your rating above 4 stars is a lot easier with the powerful support AppFollow can give any app on the market.", adds our own Ilia Kukharev, Product Manager at AppFollow.
We work with over 100,000 customers, including Activision, Disney, Lazada, Opera, and Wargaming. If you want to test the AI features, we offer a free trial.
