Custom Instructions for AI Replies

We've got a new feature in our Reply to Reviews AI Automation suite — Custom Instructions. It lets you tell the AI how to respond to reviews in a way that sounds like your brand. No more robotic replies.

If you want to keep your users happy, you need to respond to their reviews quickly and in a way that feels real. Custom Instructions make that happen by letting the AI do the work for you the right way.

Here's how it works:

• Click "Reply with AI-generated response" and find the "How would you like AppFollow to respond?" section
• Write what you want, or pick one of our ready-made templates
• Check the AI's reply to make sure it's a good fit
• Save your instructions once you’re happy with the results

These are the collection of the most helpful hints that will aid you in creating the best instructions for AI replies. AI Template Rephrasing and Translation

When you're dealing with a ton of reviews that all sound the same, your auto-replies using templates might start to appear too often. This lack of variation can detract from the personal connection you're trying to build with your users.

"AI Template Rephrasing" is here to solve this problem by injecting diversity into your responses, making each interaction feel more thoughtful and tailored to the individual. When you hit "Reply with template" or "Reply with random template from folder," just click on the shiny new "Rephrase" button under Action. The AI will take your template, give it a fresh coat of paint, and provide a brand-new version that says the same thing in different words. And—it all happens in real time.

Finally, another awesome feature you can use is AI Template translation. You can create templates in your native language, and AI will automatically translate them into the language of the review. With this in hand, you can provide localized responses for a 100% reply rate to reviews, no matter where in the world they come from.

UI & source connections updates

Now, your Source Connections (App Store, Google Play, etc.) have a new pad. There's a big banner on the Integrations page that'll take you right to the new Source Connections page. Can't miss it.

We’ve also updated the Alerts, Reports, and Delivery Log pages into one super-page. And we're not stopping there—the Integrations and Linked Integrations pages are also getting hitched. No more hunting through a maze of menus. Everything will be right where you need it, clear as day.

You’ll be happy to know that Microsoft Replies are back on the menu as well! You can reply to Microsoft reviews directly from AppFollow. Contact us through the platform to begin the integration process—we’ll help you out every step of the way.
