AppFollow has improved the semantic analysis

AppFollow, app management platform, unveiled an updated version of semantic analysis – Semantic Analysis 3.0: an expanded tag list, four new tag categories, an additional quantitative metric and a brand-new data source - Demographic Analysis.

The new version of AppFollow’s Semantic Analysis tool includes improved categories logic, and more accurate tag naming: more than 20 existing tags have been updated, and 7 brand new tags are grouped into four newly-made categories: Monetization, Report a concern, User Feedback and Bugs. New tags provide more information about audiences, the quality of the product and next steps for development.

The tool’s KPI section has also been strengthened with a new quantitative metric: Reviews to report. This allows you to accurately track the number of offensive reviews and report them to app stores, thereby increasing the average app rating.

AppFollow has also added a completely new section - Demographic Analysis - with access to more in-depth information and application statistics broken down by more than 20 languages, by countries or by regions. This allows users to monitor the difference between markets: for example, they can check the sentiment score in certain locations and quickly find out what users are complaining about, or track which language is more popular among users and strategize the application accordingly.

Stepan Gordienko, Head of Reviews at AppFollow, commented: “Semantics is the ultimate way to gather useful insights from user feedback, understand where to focus your efforts, and what changes to implement. Demographic analysis, such as sentiment score, popular tag categories and tags across languages, countries and regions, is an indispensable source of insight for those who have a global product and want to know how they are perceived by users from different regions, countries and language groups”.

All updated and additional features can be tried for free by registering at appfollow.io or by adding them to an existing account. You can also request a demo presentation of AppFollow features.
