Stonehouse Restaurants

To start with when I downloaded the app it didn’t always work which was frustrating but for the last 8 months or so it’s worked perfectly and has given me a lot of savings. Get free pud after 5 visits and a free meal after ten visits plus free meal on my birthday😃and discounts throughout the year. Brilliant

Went to my local at Barlborough last night for a birthday treat. My app was scanned for my dining reward and I thought it would appear on my total towards the free meal. Have looked today and it’s not there!! This is the third time it’s failed to register in the past few months. Also, I used to get regular alerts about offers but not for months now. My notifications setting is set at on before you query that. All in all this app is hopeless

App only works sometimes. After my local Stonehouse (ye old manor ) shut it wasn’t worth me driving to the next nearest Stonehouse but when I got a msg saying 33% off the main meal I thought I’d try it. I went the 8 miles only to be told that the bar scanner would not scan from my phone so I had to pay the full amount which was a extra £7 only to be told it might work next time . Very disappointed as this happened a lot at ye old manor too. 😡

I tried to sign up to get the BOGOF offer but I couldn't sign up. One of the Required fields was the name of your favourite Stonehouse restaurant. I typed the name of my local restaurant in about 10 different ways; lower case, capital initials, all caps, even cut & past; every single way I could think of, and it wouldn't accept it. I've finally given up. After I leave this review I'm going to delete this app. This is one customer who won't be going to Stonehouse.

A simple task like booking a table at your local restaurant is made unnecessarily complicated. This app needs a serious makeover. Why bother with an app at all if I have to re-enter all of my details every time I book? Why put the “book” link on a scrolling banner that is hidden for two thirds of the time? Why aren’t bookings confirmed and recorded in the app when you finish? Sorry, but this app is a complete nightmare to use!
