My 76

I completely love using this app and love the 15 cent savings per gallon then I get from using it. I have just been very disappointed since the last update a few weeks ago. Since the last update all that happens when I pull up to the pump and authorize the transaction is that my phone keeps thinking and gets stuck. It does the same thing if I go into the gas station, not just at the pump. So I have been forced to just use my bank card for the last few weeks and pay full price even though I have the app. If anybody important as being attention to this message please fix the bug in this app because I love using it.

Older version of the app was okay but it’s UI was lacking and there were some backend things that didn’t work properly. Now I can say with this new redesigned and updated version it is finally good to use. Before I had issues registering my 76 Kickback card. With this new version it recognized my information right away and registered my card. Choosing the gas pump and paying is quick and easy. It automatically knows which location you’re at which is great because I don’t have to manually choose it. The few stations I’ve used this in worked like a charm. No more having to pull out my card to pay just do it through the app!

Get the discount as much as you can, but don’t be like me and decide to leave your gas card at home since you have the app. Just spent half an hour at a station trying use mobile pay as I have many times. As soon as I tried logging out everything worked but I could not log back in, so I could not use mobile pay. Tried calling the support number, no answer. I really like the app but like all internet-based things it will have outages at times. Be aware.

Whomever honestly thought of making the changes to this app? You’re a genius /s. Not only did you guys remove my visa direct pay but now I can’t add it? My only options are either chase visa, your credit card, or MasterCard. I literally have no incentive to use the app at all. 1) I have no chase Visa card and no intention to switch to chase just to be able to use the app 2) I’m not applying for another credit card—meaning I’ve again, no incentive to apply to your credit card just for fueling purposes and 3) why the hell would I wanna use my MasterCard credit card(s)? I couldn’t even use my Citicard credit card and it’s on the list of approved log ins for Pete’s sake! Bye 76 app. You’ve outdone yourself on this one.

Don’t waste your time or give your information to this company. I downloaded it so I could find Union 76 stations “ near me” as I travel. After trying to use it to find a station with no results, I found a 76 retailer by luck. While waiting for the tank to fill, I opened the app - zip! I was standing in the station and it did not show up on the map. This station, as it turned out, had been a 76 retailer for over a year. Wrote to customer service asking them to delete my account and got a form response, no action no personal reply. Folks, this is a huge, rich company, but their interest in us income sources is minimal at best.
