UI changes

Simpler, faster, better. We made sure to make AppFollow more intuitive with some changes you were waiting for.

Merged Auto-replies and Auto-tags

It makes sense, doesn’t it? These two features go hand in hand and work best together. Now, they’re sharing the space under the name of Automation Hub, saving you some back-and-forth legwork.

Merged Monitor & Engage features

That’s right, now it’s one big Reviews section. It’ll make the user experience a lot better for newcomers and AppFollow veterans alike. The same treatment was done to the Reviews Chart and Reviews Analysis—they have become one.

The tags and Reviews feed isn’t all over anymore—previously, you’d see it in more than one place. You may see the amount of pie charts drastically reduced as well. That’s because they just don’t work well with the data you deal with daily.

Oh, and Accelerate has become ASO — because it makes more sense.

Next time you get hit with a review volume spike, see what’s up in seconds. Works for any category and tag. It’s still a work in progress, and the AI Summary will get even more precise over time.

In case you try the AI Summary and find it a bit off, please vote—with every summary there will be “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” buttons—help us refine it faster.

You’ll be happy to know that the AI Summary is a part of the Semantics package, which means if you have it now, you get AI summarizing as well. Request a demo if you don’t have it but would like to.

Free automation rule for any user

The goal is to help everyone start with automation without having to wait on our sales or support team to enable it—and that’s why everyone will now be able to use the “Reply to positive reviews” automation rule—keep your fans happy with instant “Thank you”’s.

Do note: this rule cannot be altered.

What’s more, the rule creation flow has been completely redesigned, and you will find it a lot more convenient to use. Editing, selecting conditions, preview rules—all of this is much easier to accomplish.

Updated Ratings API method

Now the data you see in Watch is as precise as it gets. With our new method, you get 100% accuracy for both worldwide and country-specific data for both Google Play and the App Store. Be sure to switch to API v2 as soon as you can!

Google Play Reviews: filter by country

The second most-requested feature, now live. That’s right, you can filter Google Play reviews by country—on Reply to Review, Semantic Analysis, and Tags Chart pages.

It’ll be a whole lot easier for you to determine the differences between customer voices by region or country, see the overall ratings by country, and run support/marketing efforts specialized in a particular region.
