Zombie Haters

This game is really fun to play whether you sink time into it or play a few tries a day. It gets better when you start upgrading and getting better characters, but there’s a big problem. The offline currency is bugged and more than 50% of the time when the game loads up you get nothing, it doesnt pop up with the little message saying how much you got and if you want to triple it. I always triple the money i get then spam upgrades to my characters but the last 5 consecutive times i opened the game i got no cash for being away. I sometimes cant play for an entire day and when i get back i have no extra cash so it definitely puts me off from playing much. I play a game or two then stop. If this could be looked into and fixed that would be awesome, I personally feel like I’ve lost out on a few hundred thousand in coins that could’ve been used to upgrade and annihilate the zombie horde and here’s hoping there’s a fix or something. Still a fun game and when you do get the cash for being offline and if you triple it like i do, you get some strong A.I. to control

So to start out the game is a grind. I believe I beat Zombie Haters by upgrading every character to max level (150). I did this all as a F2P player. If I had to guess how many hours it took I’d say somewhere around 8-12 hours. I’ve seen some reviews tarnishing the games reputation because they feel like it’s impossible to out run or out maneuver the zombies. This is true to a point. You will get cornered and pinched by the zombies a good amount of the time. After you gain levels for your characters and you’re able to beat “Sister Scarrie” consistently, presumably faster each time. You should attempt to gather 20-30 followers (minimum 2 Alice for her buff) in game and you will be able to AFK from there. The zombies health does not appear to multiply or increase as time goes on. They have a fixed health after Sister Scarrie is eliminated. I was able to AFK for approx. 3 hours before I reached 1,000,000,000 coins. At that point I decided to call it quits and kill off my followers 1 by 1. After the game I watched an ad and doubled my coins earned that game leaving me with more than two billion. That allowed me to finish off all my characters and thus beating the game! Can’t wait for more content in the future!

It’s fun exploring the map and collecting the little stashes of coins and adding survivors to your team but it gets boring after a while grinding it over and over to get coins to upgrade your characters at such a slow pace. It’s not even worth it when you die instantly if you even turn a millimeter the wrong way. This game should be at least playable sideways so you can see oncoming zombies. Or make a marker that pops up to show which direction they’re coming from. They’re like magnets that don’t even give you time to make a right move. This is why I deleted the game. I kept dying over and over from getting cornered or hordes came from multiple directions out of nowhere. It doesn’t even give you a chance to try and escape. Some of them lunge at you as well and one shot you. It’s just not fair play at all. No skill needs to be had because the game doesn’t even let you. It’s insta kill. Maybe make a health system and you can pick up health or armor around the map along with special little ten second power ups to pick up around the map too. and change the terrible way the zombies move and act. If this was to be a good and fun game you’d have to change it entirely imo. But good concept. The graphics are nice as well.

This is a very fun and addictive game, but when you get a reward, get back on to claim your reward, or spin the wheel, you have to watch an add- to double your rewards on your online bonus, but on the wheel just to spin it. When I click on the add for the reward, the add runs and I watch it, but after I hit the X in the top right corner after I am sure the add is done and I go back to the game, it says that I have not watched the add, so I wait and wait for a good 3 minutes, nothing happens. After a while I just click on the reward to watch the add again and I watch it again then I hit the X, and go back to the game. It still says I haven’t watched the add. Then I just get frustrated after watching the add and nothing happening, so I just hit continue without the reward- that I had just have to watch 3 adds for and nothing happens. Please fix this, because adds are pretty much how you win this game, you watch an add, and get a very valuable reward, PLEASE FIX!!!

The ads I saw the for game were true to the play. It’s a zombie shooter where you move and pick up survivors. The survivors drop time varies based on zombie kills which if you only have a few left is an issue. Some of the zombies have special abilities that are never introduced outside of what you experienced when they kill you. The boss zombies also come in waves. Once you kill one a bar appears showing how many zombies to another. You level the base characters and then just find repeats of them around the level. Pro: True to the ad and actually fun. I don’t see playing this for hours daily but when waiting for food or with a child sure. Go crazy kids. You don’t need to buy stuff, seriously just play and pick up the piles of money on the ground or kill a new boss. It took me 4 minutes to get someone to level 25 while leveling the others. It’s a seamless game. The zombies come often enough that you don’t get bored with it. Con: The AI shooters are dumb. You can walk past a car and one of them will stop completely and be killed without ever shooting back. Speaking of shooting, only 3-4 of them even shoot at zombies chasing you. Kind of bad when a horde is killing them all slowly. Doesn’t introduce enemy type. I also really wish you had to go places to trigger new bosses or could clear out the zombies because let’s be honest for a child’s game the waves do become a lot.
