Elemental Dungeon Online

This is a very fun game with quite a bit of content, and although not every character can be unlocked for free, there is a ton of content to be explored without spending a single penny. That said, the optional ads that you can watch to get small upgrades show up a lot, but luckily they aren’t absolutely necessary for survival. I tend to watch a couple ads per run for boosts, but they often glitch out and don’t give me anything after watching the whole thing, which wastes a lot of time and makes me not want to watch the ads anymore. The game’s difficulty is pretty fair in most areas, and spending money isn’t at all necessary to complete all the dungeons. That said, the one problem I have with the dungeon are the pitfalls. This is the most aggravatingly designed trap in a game that I have ever seen. There are pitfalls in almost every room, some of them that pull you in, and if you misstep just a tiny bit in a room, you die instantly to them, no matter how much health you had. It would be so much better if they instead took away 1/3 or 1/2 of your health instead of outright killing you and ending the run every time you touch them. I like dying to hard enemies and bosses a lot more than I like dying to a cheap instakill mechanic in the game. Overall, the game has a couple problems, but I don’t feel hopeless without spending money, and there is a lot of content to access for any player, whether you spend money or not.

This game is all around a fun game, I downloaded it abit a month ago and had a blast playing since, though there is something I’ve encountered that may hinder the game itself or I don’t know if it’s a glitch or I’m just plain unlucky. Before the update I got the water and earth keys, after the update adding in the skills and the dungeon progression I Breezed through the dangerous dungeon and didn’t take the reward at the end, neither did I do the challenge since I believe I already had the key for the area, now that I try to access challenge or multiplayer it tells me I haven’t finished the first dungeon, okay, I try to do dangerous dungeon again hoping I could unlock those modes but unfortunately for me the button to start the dungeon was missing. I can’t tell if this is a glitch or gameplay choice or whatever. But it’s holding back content on me and or others in my situation, is there a way I could fix this? Thank you for the reply, though the thing is since I cleared all the items and did dangerous dungeon already in adventure mode without claiming the chest, I don’t know if that hinders it. I tried to go back to clear dangerous dungeon adventure mode once more though the button to start the dungeon was missing, is there anything that can be done?

Multiplayer can get to the point where all your attacks start firing 3 seconds after you activate them as well as sometimes just getting stuck with your abilities charging. I have a good internet connection so that’s not the issue.(I see that this has been addressed multiple times and once it is fixed my review will definitely improve) I also think the hunter needs an upgrade. His arrows are ok but maybe consider making some of them continuously fire (similar to the fire and ice abilities of the ronin). His mana is another problem; there are abilities he simply can’t use because they require 4 mana and his max is 3. His play style just seems bland, I’d consider a movement based element (for example maybe for earth a small AOE at his origin and a short dash backwards). I also believe the water arrow needs a DMG boost because, as it is now, it serves only as a set up for electric or ice arrow with its low dmg. Sorry for the long review I really am enjoying the game 😂. (P.s. a rogue or knight character would be a great way to add onto the roster!)

This is by far one of the most underrated games. This is an extremely fun yet challenging game with beautiful design. The style of the game is incredibly well done and the sprites and look of the game is extremely well made. The game runs extremely well with the controls being simple yet fun. The game is quite challenging and there are plenty of levels to keep a user playing; however, there are a few cons in the game’s design and mechanics. (You will need to play the game for a well understanding of below) For instance, many of the spells by itself are extremely weak compared to combined spells. And some spells when combined are extremely overpowered yet some are just plain weak. Another flaw I noticed is when you rank up in EXP, the game continues while your character is frozen. This can be a problem when leveling up in quicksand due to you falling in a pit. Another glitch I noticed is certain enemies will become stuck in the walls and only a combined spell can kill them. Overall this game is fun, well made, and overall an amazing game on the AppStore.

Game’s great, but the difficulty is skew in that many attacks are impossible to dodge (at least with the free character, everyone else costs money save for 1 who costs about 8-12 hours worth of in game currency) and every few rooms you have the option to watch an ad for a buff. These buffs are paramount unless you’re a god, and just about everything in the game that’s worth getting requires ads or premium currency. I watch at least 6 ads in a run that ends in me beating the dungeon boss. There’s no way to completely remove the ads, nor is there a full version of the game where you can pay one amount for all the content. The “full” game feels like a bitcoin miner in the guise of a game, as playing the game and being successful pretty much requires you to watch ads every time you play, even if you buy the $10 characters. Great game, garbage management. Charge $5/$10 for ad removal, the game is good enough that people will pay. Guarantee 90% of your players uninstall within a few sessions, I spend a 3rd of the time the app is open waiting for an ad to end. It’s stupid. Don’t waste your time, soul knight is a better game and doesn’t jerk you around, I’ve just beaten it a few hundred times and wanted something different. Too bad in this case different means anti-consumer
