In the settings area there’s a button for ‘personal details’ which when I click on it, says I’m not authorised to view that page, with a button to click that says ‘ok got it’. But no. Honestly, I don’t ‘got it’.. why can I not view my personal details? Why put the button there when I can’t use it? I’ve also found out I can’t even view them on the website. In the app, when you click the ok-got-it button, it lands you onto a screen that says you need to log in or sign up. So I click log in (to log in again after clicking on view personal details in my settings when I just logged in) (I figured it must just be extra security) but then after I click on log in, it just goes to a blank page and I can’t even log in. App is latest version and phone is latest software. An annoying bug that needs to be fixed.

I tried to purchase a gift card today for Big W via the Zip app. After selecting my gift card dollar amount, the payment window within the app timed out and notified me that there had been an issue, therefore I wasn’t charged and I would not receive a gift card, and to try again later. I checked my balance, I hadn’t been charged and I hadn’t received a gift card in my email. So I tried again and it worked fine. I used the gift card straight away as I was at the shop already. I then received another gift card in my email a few minutes later. I checked my balance and they had charged me twice and sent me two gift cards. When I contacted them for a reversal (I haven’t even signed in to open the other gift card) I was notified that they would sort it out. I received an email from their customer service team stating that any gift card that is purchased, is not refundable. The issue is - I DID NOT PURCHASE IT. The app malfunctioned and now they have made money on a gift card I won’t use! Unfortunately I will be taking this to the department of consumer protection and once I reduce my Zip amount to $0 I will not be using it again. It is a shame because Zip was a great service until this incident where the customer service team has been less than helpful.

Terrible app, downloaded, selected to create a new account, chose PayPal as the way to login to the app and apparently my application was rejected? Apparently you can get rejected for even trying to create a login, they have none of my personal information yet, all they got is my email address and that is enough to reject an account apparently, don’t know they expect anyone to use them if you can’t even get past the account creation process. Bit hard to provide details or a credit card if they won’t even let me enter anything, how does that even constitute a credit check when I haven’t even authorised one to be undertaken? Think I’ll stick with Afterpay who actually let you create and account before rejecting you, they’re a bit smarter and have you enter your personal information AFTER you create an account, during which time they THEN use the information you enter to do their own checks.

I applied for a zip money account a few weeks ago and i just went to check if i was approved and nothing! No email no txt nothing! I was hoping to use zip money to get a rotating credit of $2000 for some moderately urgent dentistry. I earn over $2000 a month! Which isnt much i know but i always have about four hundred left over each month and im very responsible with it! and i thought it would be nice to put it to work for a healthier looking smile and improved health! Im just thankful i wasnt waiting for zip money approval for something more serious! They just ignored me because im not a 9 to 5 er ( im a semipro international recording artist!) shame really could have worked out really well! Afterpay just gave me a credit increase to over $1000 but not everyone accepts it :( hence why i applied for a zip money account! And they didnt get back to me! So yeah maybe its easier just to save up the money yourself!

Had the same issue as the other review was unable to create an account apparently I was rejected however not long after got a home loan by myself lol! My new boyfriend has tried to set up an account last weekend could not even create a login! Kept saying password incorrect even though there was none made yet! I emailed zip care I had a Natalie send me a generic email not even addressing the issue/questions I had so asked to speak to a manager or just to have her answer my queries so my partner can create a login or account and got nothing back! He has not even been able to create a login yet so has not had any checks done he has a great credit score etc so want answers or help! Apparently that’s too hard!! So sorry guys even emailing through gets you nowhere Afterpay all the way lol I am forced to rate this app its not even worth one star!
