Hi! I'm very sorry that it wasn't clear that you were signing up for a monthly subscription. From what I understand you say that the refund was declined, but then you say that you don't expect money to be returned to your account. Can you please contact our support team at suppport@scholarshipowl.com so that we can help you out. If the refund was approved for you, you will receive the refunded amount within 10 days. It's how the banking process works, this period is not up to us. If you used the service in that month you might not be eligible for a full refund. Hi Aria, ScholarshopOwl does not require you to provide your Social Security Number. Could you please contact our customer support team so that we can understand who asked you for your Social Security Number on our behalf. We also don't share your information without your consent, so please get in touch with us to locate your account and sort this out. Please contact us at contact@scholarshipowl.com or toll-free at 800 494 4908. I just wanted to clarify that you absolutely DO NOT need to pay for an account with us. You also do not need to pay for scholarships you're matched with. On the back of the scholarship card, you will find the link to the scholarship providers' website where you can apply manually free of charge. We're not responsible for the information you share with scholarship providers when you apply manually. If you wish to use automatic form filling, automatic application to the recurring scholarship and application status updates you'll be asked to get a subscription. Otherwise, you can use the app free of charge. Please get in touch with us and we will help you out immediately.
