The pros: shows how many classes you’ve attended and sends reminders. The cons: everything else. So many bugs! Why do I have to log in all the time? Why is it that as soon as I look at today’s classes and then try to look at tomorrow’s it shows there are no classes? Why then when I click on another day I have to actively scroll up to see morning classes? Why the stupid calendar format instead of the one we used to have when you just scroll down to see options for the week? If the studio name is too long I can’t see the dates of classes that I attended. I can’t see my individual packages nor their expiration dates. Why would you take a good app and replace is with one that’s so much more inferior?!

Huge improvement from the prior app. I love seeing my class totals and the favorites option! A couple improvements I would love to see - please let me turn off email notifications for when I book a class. This is so obnoxious! Would love to be able to customize the time for my class reminders. A five hour reminder would be awesome so I remember to cancel in time if necessary. Also, please let us see what number we are on the waitlist! If I know where I am I can try to adjust my schedule to make it to another class or pack my gym bag differently to pick an alternative workout. Revised 12/19 - updates to the “My Schedule” page are not good. Either give users the option to choose between this calendar view and prior list view OR list all classes under the calendar. Still waiting on the ability to turn off emails.

Love the classes, the app has always been maddening and the new version is no exception. It locks up, you have to log into each shop after logging into the PB main page. Then log in AGAIN to buy classes and it locks up half the time. Logging In and out and in and out of multiple stores is totally nuts . Massage envy, Drybar all are franchise shops with different owners and their app makes you log in ONCE while showing schedules for multiple locations and hit book and done. I’m at the point where I’d rather call to book. The app is useless and after YEARS of a &&@$ app I’m really angry about it . I just tried to name my review “ worst app ever” and I got an error that this review name is already taken!!!!! I tried “awful” and that’s taken too!!!! Nuff said! ):

This version of the app is better the last but leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to viewing your history or being accurate on class counts. I’ve had several disappear since the new app began. Additionally it would be helpful to be able to share my schedule with selected friends so that we can plan classes together. Last, it would be helpful to be able to search a timeframe to get an accurate count of classes. Ie, i just found out i have 9 classes to complete black barre and it would have been nice to know that prior to 10 days before the end of the year, and I’m not convinced that is even accurate.

DREADFUL. If I had a dollar for every time this app has forgotten me and asked me to re-register, I’d own my own Pure Barre franchise. When the app does remember me, it seems to crash every other time I try to register. The app has been problematic since the initial release months ago, so the fact that these issues persist makes me wonder about the competence of the developers. What difference does a nicer design make if the app doesn’t work? Tech isn’t that hard, especially these days. For such an exclusive exercise program, which can cost $30-45/class depending on location, PB should be embarrassed. First world problems, I know. But really—GET IT TOGETHER, PURE BARRE, and hire developers who know what they’re doing.
