It’s app and messages not upto date even Statement of accounts you will receive your transaction messages sometimes even after one day or two days when you will check in app even transaction history it will not shown up even am transaction complete and received by other party .you will transfer funds local or transfer you will not receive notifications sometimes even two days ... Overall pathetic services .. I received salary 4 days before as of now I don’t receive text means while I was fighting with company that I don’t receive salary but they confirm it transfer after one day I download app and login then it was showing in app but even till now I don’t receive any msg. I will not recommend

So it happens to be my mistake that I opted to choose Mashreq Neo as one of my accounts. Firstly when I get message for my delivery and someone calls to confirm the date and time and then on the day of delivery no one turns up. When I call them they say sorry and we haven’t dispatched and gives me another date. The card finally arrives and they tell me that the account will be activated in 7 to 10 days. Nothing happens and I keep on chasing them and they say sir it will be done. Finally on 29th July when I call them they say there was another customer with the same name so they dint open my account. I thought I was only person with this name in the entire universe. Mashreq Bank please give some logical excuse to your customers and we are not studying in the same schools like your agents. And even if that is the case why don’t you call the customers and rather expect them to call you. Or is it because you offer some promotion and then realize you did not get the number of customers expected so avoid opening the accounts in the given time.

I’m a Neo account holder. But I’m not satisfied with their service. They cheated me saying that they will give me cash back. Also I was requested them many times to change my account type from minimum balance to zero balance as it was opted by me by mistake. Even though they have sent me email confirming that my case is resolved they are deducting AED 25 every month. When I contacted with customer care the representative told me all problems are resolved; nothing to do more. But when I transferred some amounts to the account they deducted AED 25 again. So I contacted the customer care again after long time one representative attended my call and after verification she told me that still my account is not changed from maintaining minimum balance to zero balance; then what they are intending by the confirmation message that my case has been resolved? I couldn’t understand. I have contacted customer care for this issue more than ten times; but the service was very bad; still I’m facing the problem.

Fetchr courier person came to deliver my debit card & welcome kit of Mashreq Neo today. He asked for my original Emirates ID for verification after which he inserted the Emirates ID in his tab (mashreq neo tab) & verified me after scanning my finger on the tab. Next asked for my original passport so he could take photo of 1st page & the tab was supposed to auto extract the passport details into the tab as there is no option of manual entry of passport details. Courier guy tried to extract my passport details into the tab atleast 50 times without success. So he left without delivering to me my debit card & welcome kit. What type of smart banking is this when your own system cant read & extract details of passport properly? Worst thing is there is no option of going to a branch & verifying ur passport & emirates id to activate your account. So u have to wait for your account to be activated indefinitely until some one from customer-care bothers to reply to ur emails since they never answer the calls on their customer care no as the phone rings and after few minutes auto bot reply that a callback has been scheduled to u within next 24 hours. The way they are aggressively advertising Mashreq Neo everywhere, i expected it to be a pretty fast & efficient service. Very disappointed & frustrated with Mashreq Neo.

It was very easy to open the account. But the nightmare started after opening the account. Their Kit Delivery is outsourced to Fetcher and that’s the worst part. The Fetcher team called me at 10 PM and 9 AM on Friday to ask to schedule delivery on Sunday. When I called Fetcher to check why Kit didn’t arrive on Sunday, the customer support was very dude and was disconnecting my call coz their systems are down. The Fetcher customer support is the worst thing I experienced. It’s more than a week since I opened the Neo account, but the Kit never arrived. Everyday morning a staff of Fetcher Calls to say my account is cancelled and on the evening another staff calls to say it’s scheduled for delivery. Reported the issue to Mashreq Neo Team who said the kit will be delivered today and tomorrow, but it never reached. In the end I canceled the account and walked to another bank and opened a account. WORST experience Ever
