HDFC has tried to improve the security features but they have totally missed the customer experience. For retail clients, it’s always gr8 and necessary to have the additional security measures in place especially considering the frauds happening on a daily basis. However, for corporate clients who already have their internal controls in place, this App only makes the process efficient. For one transaction, each user i.e. inputer, verifier and authoriser have to do 4 steps (Login the App, Login the website with password, OTP on the App, Upload file/transaction initiation OTP). That’s 12 steps for single transaction. Just makes the whole process inefficient. Humble request to HDFC to relook at some of these steps

The fact that password is limited to 8 characters is not obvious.. the limit is set while setting the password.. but while loggin to the app, you can enter more than 8 characters.. so, if your standard password is longer than 8 characters, you won’t realise that it didn’t setup the whole length.. and while loggin in it does not work! There’s also no way to reset a password if you forget, other than “re-registration” through offline means.. extremely poorly designed app

Very poor interface. Does not work or feel like security app. I have added two accounts, but selection screen for account is not appearing, and I am not able to login. Such things are not expected from India’s leading and most popular private bank.

Updated to version 1.31 but app not working, closing automatically

Finally changed ! Need to be improved ... Also consider e net banking app for wholesale banking . Have seen many international banks has features given to its customers very long back
