Green Flag

Typically I I broke down on a cold wet night, no lights everything just died. I called the breakdown - who I found out later also notified the police as I was not in a good place - they drove by to check I was ok. Shortly after the breakdown van arrived. A very courteous gentleman shielded my car so I could get in out of the rain and very swiftly assessed the problem - alternator. He helped me get my car home. When there he checked and confirmed his diagnosis. I am still so very impressed with how my call was dealt with. Definitely won’t be looking anywhere else for my cover. And, the following day when the garage collected my car they also confirmed it was the alternator. Many thanks for being there when I needed your help.

I’ve just had the pleasure of being rescued by green flag for the 2nd time since joining Green flag due to my car battery being flat outside my home. This was the first time though i’ve used the Rescue Me app and its utterly fabulous. I was notified via the app an estimated time of what time he/she was going to be arriving, then the revised exact time as when to expect them but amazingly he arrived a few moments after that notification of that time update and restarted my battery within minutes of arriving and i was off on my way. Nothing but praise for Green Flag. ThankYou So much guys for a superb service and app AND for the gentleman who rescued me today.

Tried to use for the first time. Only for them to have my wrong vch reg on system after some negotiation they found my policy. Then refused to come out and recover my bike due to knacked battery. Because my tax ran out about a week ago. Why u need tax to go on the bck of a recovery truck.? So I agreed to tax it and call them bck. I was unable to tax the vch as I don’t carry my V5 on me which u need. So left stranded. I managed to get a friend to take me home to get V5 so I could tax the vch. This done I rang again. Only for the operator not hearing properly said he ring me bck. He never did. I called again only to be held in a long que then put in option call bck they never did. This whole process was over 3hrs late at night. In they end I got help else where and got the bike home. And they had the cheek to charge me an admin fee for change of details. Want your money but won’t come get you when stranded.

Just got my documents through the post and thought I’d try to add my policy to the app since that would be kind a useful. Still can’t find my policy which considering it’s been issued and in my possession doesn’t make much sense nor is it it really any use app-wise. Update - 22.3 - great comms from Tom re above and able to see why I can’t add my policy as yet. When you know what’s happening it makes things so much clearer. Have updated rating to reflect customer service and will update furthermore once I’m able to add my policy. Update - 3.5 - see above - all sorted and excellent comms from Tom! 5 stars all the way!

Via our NatWest account we used Green Flag. My wife had a blow-out puncture driver side and was parked up on the hard shoulder of a hectic motorway. Rang Green Flag gave my NatWest account number and that was all that was required the operative said. Priority would be given as being a stranded female and also being on a motorway they would attend immediately. I rang my wife to reassure her someone would be there soon. She rang back 5 minutes later too say the ‘cavalry’ had arrived. The rescue was quickly and professionally dealt with. Cannot praise their service enough. Well done Green Flag.
