Decorator - Design Real Homes

Update: The glitches when you add paint need to be fixed. Painting is the only time the app has crashed so far, but the last crash glitched out my screen and shut down my phone. Previous review: The app is fun to play, and it’s free, so no complaints are major. A few fixes would make it SO much better. I’m guessing developers are already working on most of these things. When they’re fixed, this game will be the best decorating app I have. (I’ve only been trying it out for a few days, so maybe I’ve somehow missed some of the features mentioned below) Fixes? -really limited choices on everything: decor and furnishings. -the app crashes a lot -I haven’t found a way to save progress on a room -once published, no edits can be made to your designs, and design can’t be deleted. Annoying when something is accidentally published before it’s done. -You can’t move individual pieces forward or backward. Every time you tap on something, it moves all the way to the front. You have to dig to uncover everything behind it, and start over in placing everything. Seriously annoying and time-consuming. -Other decorating apps allow you to rotate and adjust items into proper perspective. On this one, you can only size items. You can’t rotate them, or customize angles. Rooms don’t look right, and develop a flat collaged look. -Some furnishings are only at an angle, so can’t be placed flat against a wall.

This app has so much potential. I had been using Home Design but the support is ridiculous when it comes to the free diamond offers. Turns out I think they just want people's personal info so I've been desperately looking for another and came across this one. I'm not able to move the furniture around well esp when it comes to building layers like rugs or pillows on couches etc I'm not even sure I'm doing it right because there's no help or Troubleshooting but I think with a little help this could be wonderful. So please please make it easier because I don't want to have to use Home design. Thank you!

So irritating when you spend a lot of time Decorating a room then it crashes and you lose everything you just spent all that time on. Very frustrating! They said they fixed bugs for iOS 12. Not this one. The app needs a lot of improvement as far as how furniture is placed. Some furniture will only go one way or the options don't allow you to turn to level on a wall. Really stupid people get on here and post stuff like a pic of a lake with a toy in it to decorate or a pic of a car, totally ruins it for everyone when that happens. While they think it's funny, I do not. I am on the app to decorate. I play games on other apps. Should be an age limit or something. Need more of a variety on rugs and colors on furniture. Also painting the walls it just goes crazy. Idk, I should probably delete app til it gets fixed. Great concept though.

So I have been using the Home Design app and I love it. I really do, however I wanted to find something else that I can use as a design app. I do love Decorator because you can design people’s homes and give them ideas and really get feedback and you can change the wall colors and place furniture as you wish, as opposed to Home Design where you just design a space and they tell you were it will go. The only issue I have is the painting of the walls. I have been having issues with getting that done properly. I am not sure if it is a glitch on my phone or if it the app. Other to that I love it and have no issues.

This app is a really good theme and has a good concept but.... When u click on the design button and u start decorating ..... The paint is just so annoying ..... U click a spot and it takes forever to paint it so u keep clicking and it makes a mess on the floor with paint splattered everywhere ... Should be more simple and easy to paint. Other than that this app is fine. I think there should be a bigger variety of things to put IN the room. Like more styles. How about ombre or watercolor for a teenage room? Or more things a person would keep inside of a room. I give this app 3 stars. ✨
