Bluestone Lane Rewards

These are little gems all around NYC. They have good coffee, great healthy food, and even better service. We have one of these by my office so I come in regularly in the mornings or for the occasional work coffee meeting. They are all great spaces for a work coffee meeting! One piece of feedback I have for this app is I’d love to be able to order ahead of my visit. When I downloaded it I expected this capability but alas it looks like it’s not here yet. Either way, fully support this company and can’t wait for more to come!!!

I downloaded the app just a few minutes ago, so it’s too early for me to give more (or less) than 3 stars. However, when I created my profile, I was looking at the various dropdown fields, to see the available keyword choices. Gender is an easy one, because I’m definitely going to select either Male or Female. But when I examined the choices for, say, the “Dietary” field, I found that I was forced to select a choice. So, merely by looking at the choices, I found that I had to select one, even though none applied to me. Perhaps the interface can be updated to allow the user to examine the keyword choices without necessarily having to select one

This app is ok...barely. Not sure how it is bettering my life being able to pay with my phone. It’s really little more than a loyalty card. Would really appreciate an app that allows you to order ahead of time so that I can quickly grab my coffee and avocado toast on the way in to work rather than having to wait. Also it provides no phone # for the local store so can’t order ahead that way either. It’s taking up memory on my phone- I just end up ordering thru a delivery service most times.

Current implementation feels buggy or incomplete, little things like there is no choice for "none" in dietary restrictions in the profile, forcing you to choose a restriction of some sort. However, most significantly, it lacks many of the features of comparable apps, such as the Starbucks app, which feature on line ordering and remember your previous orders/favorites. Placing an order from the subway or the office is a nice capability we've gotten used to, and this is now 'tablestakes' that this app lacks. Otherwise, it competently replaces a read-only web page, showing locations, hours and menus, as well as replacing paper loyalty cards. However, I expect apps to do more...

At first I loved this as we have a bluestone in our building so I get something here at least twice a week. I thought I was paying directly until I saw the monthly charge come out of my bank all at once. Terrible feature. If I wanted to buy my month's worth of coffee I certainly would never do it the same time rent is due. This really needs to be a setting you can change to fit your needs. Renders the app useless for me.
