Audio cuts out half way through shows then as it doesn’t remember where you are (and let you resume show like the 9Now app) you have to remember where you are then sit though 5+ extra minutes of ads before you even can watch the show again. Like a lot have stated, there are too many ads and you aren’t doing the companies any favours by playing the same ones over and over- it’s actually a deterrent. Order of episodes should be newest to old not oldest to new (episode 1 is at the top and it should be at the bottom so you have quicker and easier access to the latest ep. It also would align with all other tv station apps. Ad volumes are also a LOT louder than the shows themselves. A ‘last night’ tab would be great to easily find what was on the night prior instead of having to search for them. This is also something the 9Now app does that is very handy. I suggest you look at the 9 and 10 apps, as well as Stan and Netflix to see what they do well and replicate. It’s not that hard!

I have only used this app to watch one season of a show so far, but I cannot keep up with what’s going on in the show - the app completely skipped an episode on me, I know it wasn’t error on my behalf because I was watching episodes back to back, I had to then go back and find what I had missed, even then, I miss the last tiny bit of EVERY episode, as the app auto plays the next episode and cuts the current episode off mid sentence. This app should be convenient, but I think it’s an easier option to sit down and watch the program on TV. It is highly frustrating, I would love to give this app a higher rating but until this is fixed I don’t think I will be watching any other shows. My friend also complains that her app does not keep a track of which episode she is up to or where in said episode, which I can imagine must be very annoying. The audio cuts out at random points, or the ads will freeze, I then have to close the app and reopen it, and then have to sit through yet another round of ads. I can look past having to watch the same 3 ads on repeat every ten minutes, but not this. Please start actually listening to the users of this app, I’ve seen bad review upon bad review and nothing is being done, I hate leaving low reviews on anything but in complete honestly this app is terrible, the functionality is not up to standard for an app equivalent of a nation wide TV channel, incredibly disappointing.

I like using 7plus to catch up on shows I’ve missed or wanting to see at later date but from my experience with this app, it’s not as enjoyable as I hoped. I’m a deaf person which I use subtitles (closed captioning) whenever I watch TV shows or movies but I have noticed that the subtitles are out of sync and sometimes made it harder for me to understand what’s happening. Please fix this. I have noticed that there’s too many ads happening for a streaming service. I believe you should change it so the ads would only play at the start, middle and at the end of the show. All I’m saying is that the lesser ads we would have to watch, the more we can enjoy our shows. I don’t mind having ad breaks throughout the show on TV (free to air) as we can use that time to do our business, but do we really need them on the app? Start, middle and end is all I’m asking you. And also, I would like to alert you that whenever the ads comes on, the first one is always the iPad Pro one. It won’t be different. The last 3 are random.

I’ve used the app & the online site & if the show I was watching wasn’t good I’d never have anything to do with either again! They both just crash randomly, there are way too many ads & most of them are just repeats of the same 7 promo’s so totally unnecessary (seriously, out of a 6 ad block 5 were the same Greys Anatomy promo - I’m not 5 times more likely to watch it just because you run the promo more often 🙄). I’ve used the same FB site to log in to both but I had to start from scratch on the app & after the last app crash, there’s no quick & easy way to get back to the show I was watching. At least the online website has a section where I can continue watching the show... I have to search for the show from scratch on the App. Considering that’s a basic feature & pretty much the whole point of logging into an app - so you can pick up where you left off - that’s a really poor sign of the app as a whole.

My complaints are the same that have been raised time and time again for more than a year by others. It is sad to see that feedback had not been listened to or applied. I can not understand how an app designed to watch tv episodes does not have the capacity to save where you are up to in an episode. I have to try and remember, skip through, then sit through a bunch of ads to see if I was right. If I have to adjust it again, more ads! I understand the need for ads, but I could literally quote the ads word for word. They are exactly the same, and are actually making me hate the companies who are being advertised as well as 7. Why the same ads over and over? Why not have a skip function if you’ve already watched that and that episode. There are other shows advertised on the app that I am interested in, but this app is by FAR the worst out of all the free to air TV apps. I will be deleting it once I’ve finished the one season of the show I’ve started watching, and I’ll be telling my friends not to bother.
