This app is great until, when watching tenplay on chrome cast, it ALWAYS displays a sign on the screen of my tv “still watching? Press play on your phone to continue” and the show will pause. Always in the last couple of minutes of the show. Even if I go into the tenplay app on my phone. Pause the show and then press play before the sign comes up, it still does. And when I do press play, the show will continue on with the sign displayed on the screen and the screen really dimmed. So I always struggle to see what is happening and miss the last minute or so of my show. So dumb! This only happens with the tenplay app. It never happens with any of my free to air, catch up tv shows. Just stupid old tenplay! So I reported the issue via the tenplay app about a week ago. No one from admin has bothered to contact me to let me know they even seen the issue I reported to them, and the problem is still happening. Very unprofessional and really irritating. I’d think I’d at least get an email from them saying that they are trying to work on it, or give me some troubleshooting tips... NOTHING!

OMG. This app has so many bugs I don’t know where to start. It always plays an ad at the start which is fine, except often the show never commences. So you load it up again and again and are tortured by the same ad in the hope that the show will commence. It doesn’t. If it does work I still have a message across the top of the screen that my show will recommence in 1 second and a Learn more button. This is super annoying when trying to watch something. Now let’s talk about casting. I had better success casting to Apple TV but every time it wants to play an ad during a show it cancels the cast and returns to the start of the program. This is insane. Please lift your game. I’m a shift worker who doesn’t get to watch what I want when it’s broadcast. These apps give me access to your programming. If you can’t get it right, I don’t watch. No wonder Netflix is so popular. I’ve never had an issue with it. I know I don’t pay for this, but I’m also happy to watch ads as long as it doesn’t stuff up the whole streaming process. I want to watch your stuff but you are making it so frustrating that I’m about to give up.

If you’re going to push everyone off the Apple TV app (which worked amazingly well) at least make sure your iPad and iPhone apps actually work. What a joke when your app can’t even fulfill its purpose - play a TV show. Even the ABC has this figured out. Yet a commercial station as large as yours can’t get it together? Both apps are a joke and plagued with issues. The biggest of course is whenever there’s an ad break in the program, once the ads finish the program returns to the start. Every. Single. Ad. Break. Try and fast forward back to where you were - same thing. Fast forward past the ad break you just saw - oh no you don’t, here’s the ads you tried to skip and then back to the start again. This app is completely unusable. The developers and team in charge of it should be fired. What’s worse is you probably only closed the Apple TV app to force people to make an account and login. Oh yay spam from channel ten. Way to care about your viewers. I’ve completely given up watching any of your programs and am using apps from other channels that function perfectly.

Absolutely the most useless app I've come across. I've attempted to watch a show 6 times tonight & have wasted so much data and 3 hours to attempt to watch a 44 minute show. The one segment I wanted to watch was at the end of the show yet you can't fast forward to a certain segment without having to watch more commercials than you would on TV and for the buggies commercial to repeat and not stop without returning to the start again. Here's the kicker I got 3 quarters of the way through the show near the segment I wanted to watch after 6 attempts for a error message to come up and say the page has re loaded and it took me back to the start again. Don't waste your time on this app. Obviously the developers aren't listening feedback as the glitches everyone brings are are so easily fixed and for a major network to ignore the feedback is poor. Not the first time this has happened but will be the last because I'm not wasting my time on this app again.

Judging by the comments and low rating I must be one of the lucky ones as the app has been flawless for me. Cast to tv and works straight away, HD quality. 30 sec ad in the beginning, 5 sec ads during the breaks has been a big plus for me. Do remember the app and website while ago being pretty bad but so far it’s been smooth for me. Sometimes think that people do go overboard on bad app reviews, one sign of a problem and its one star rating and worst app ever review without checking if its on their end the issue. Maybe I will run into issues and will update the review but been using it for a while now and it’s been great.
