Top Music Apps in the US in October 2019
At AppFollow we gathered the data about the most popular apps in the Music category for iOS and Android between October 1, 2019 and October 30, 2019 in the US using Top Charts Rankings tool.
To calculate the data, we counted how many times the app occupied the first line of Paid, Free and Grossing categories. Looking at this research, you can see the trends taking over the mobile world and users’ taste.
For iOS users, the best Free Music app was Spotify for iPhone and iPad both, while the top one among the best free music apps for Android was YouTube Music.
In Paid category the best Music app was TonalEnergy Tuner & Metronome for iPhone and forScore for iPad. TonalEnergy Tuner and Metronome got to the Top Paid Music apps for Android.
Leader in Grossing category for iPhone and iPad was Pandora Music. And the top Grossing Music app for Android was Smule - the singing app.
Mobile music apps tend to be subscription-based, no wonder why most of the top listed apps have in-app purchases. Quick reminder: in-app purchases have an impact on your app position in search and they make a part of ASO for iOS. Good things to think about.
