Word Alert

In The Lord's Prayer, Jesus says to ask the Father for our daily Bread. Often, this app contains my main course of the Bread of Life for the day. At other times it is a "side dish". Always, it is an encouragement and comfort to have the word of God available for me to chew on and to eat (believe)throughout the day... I am grateful for the technology that puts God's word in our hands so readily, and for the hands that prepare it. Thank you, Developer Dave. I pray that you will continue to be available to God, used to bring Light into the Darkness. May Christ be your top priority in life, your dependence be not in yourself, even your skills and gifts, but in Him. I quickly go through apps, but I’ve had Word Alert since I got this IPad. I love this, because I can quickly here what God’s saying, this has helped me become stronger in my walk with god, this app has inspired me and the verses comfort me when I’m said I’m still young, but lots of things happen and the verses in this app remind me of Gods everlasting love and that there is no such thing as him leaving me, this app helped me deal with bullies. Thanks so much to the creator. May God bless you very much!you don’t even know the lives you impact! I’d like to see more apps like. These. You shined light into this very dark and cruel world that needed Gods light, thanks.

This app is exactly what I was looking for a simple app that gives you 1 verse a day to strengthen your faith in god and Jesus and get you through the day. I love the fact that I can pick the exact time I want the verse to pop up which really helps me when I’m in a stressful situation at a certain time each day. I also love how you can star and archive your favorite verses you received to look back on them in times of need. This app has truly helped me through many struggles and for anyone seeking to grow in faith this is the perfect app. Some verses come to me at the perfect time and say just the right thing as I feel stressed.

I try each day to wake up early and read my Bible then meditate on God's word. But what I want doesn't always work out. I am a devout Christian, a writer, an artist and my husband and I are in the middle of remodeling our entire house. HUGE JOB!! On the days that don't go as I planned, I set my Word Alert to give me my daily scripture early in the morning so that at least I will have that spiritual food for the day. I refer back to it off and on all day and the funny thing is that the scripture nearly always goes right along with what I am experiencing that day! But I know it's not a coincidence, it's God at work in my life!!!

This app is great! You just set the time of day you want to receive your alert and it sends you an encouraging Bible verse. Took me forever to find an app that did this! :) It's easy to use and it's exactly what I wanted. The way it works is similar to Sprinkle of Jesus, if you've ever used that, only instead of sending an encouraging message it sends an encouraging Bible verse. Sprinkle of Jesus is good too, though, if you're looking for something more along the lines of food for thought. This app is for you if you're looking for something directly from the Bible.
