This app continues to be intelligent enough to track the necessary conditions for a good surf report and simple enough to answer those quick questions that determine if I actually suit up and go. I love it!
I really like this app. It is well designed, intelligent and helpful. However, I am specifically hoping to find something to help give me complications for my Apple Watch face to show current wave and wind conditions at my favorite surfing location. The app has some complications but none that I can use on any of my watch faces.. perhaps they are outdated or the wrong sizes? Could you please look to add complications of one / some of the types: circular, modular small, graphic corner, utility small, graphic circular. It would be much appreciated! This seems like a small detail that would help take this app to the next level!
If you beginner like me, this is the best app to go surf. All informations about surf spots and good designed app helps you to know, when you should go surf and when you not!
It works great on the iPhone, but it won’t even open on my Apple Watch, series 3. On my watch it only says, ”make sure you are logged in the application.” I surely am. I even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it on my watch, logging off and then back on, and it still doesn’t work on my Apple Watch.
Watch app is often just black screen or spinning dots/wheel. Trouble refreshing and completely unreliable. We’d a Complication for watch faces. Three stars because the phone app is much better, lots of surf spots already and can add your own which is very useful. The smiley face thing is a little cheesy, but I can deal with it if the forecast is accurate. I’m a paying subscriber and hope to see this app continue to develop and improve. Aloha
