I recently opened bank accounts for my kids for the purpose of teaching them banking and for the ease of transferring money from my primary bank to their accounts, which makes it easier to pay allowances. I am primarily banked with a different bank and the app does not offer the ability to transfer funds to my kids account from my external account, even though the accounts are linked. In order to transfer money, I have to go to the full site. This is extremely inconvenient; the app should offer the ability to make transfers from external accounts.

I’ve had this issue for over a month now. Every time I tap on my savings account, it says “Loading Account” in a loop forever. Nothing happens. In order for me to access the transfer tab or access my checking account, I have to close the app and re-open it. It doesn’t let me see my savings account via the mobile app. I called customer service and the employee said she hasn’t heard of the issue. However, she tried her own savings account while on the phone with me and same issue as mine, it won’t load and the loading account box just loops forever. She said she was going to let her manager know but it’s been over a month. There isn’t an update available to fix this and I have already tried uninstalling app and installing again. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. My sister tried her savings account and same issue. Can someone please fix this?! I want to access my savings account via the mobile app as before!

I’m sure if app developers were the ones taking the phone calls about how awful the functionality of this app is it’d work a lot better. Randomly locked out of my account and prompted to “unlock my account” after clicking unlock account I’m prompted to enter my date of birth and user name to reset password on the mobile banking side - still doesn’t work, tried hitting “forgot password”...no luck so I call customer service and wait on hold 15 mins and I’m told “you’re not locked at all” which wasn’t the case. I was provided a temporary password to bypass mobile banking side and reset pw on the vystar app itself. I go to reset my pw and the system clearly recognizes that I’ve used a series of passwords in the past (which were the same passwords attempted before I was locked out again with no rhyme or reason). As a member it doesn’t feel secure to have my account constantly “locked” and not know what prompted it. Please test this app more to ensure quality and viability for your users.

I made the switch to VyStar a few years ago and I’m happy I did. While there were some things that were frustrating at first I feel VyStar is actively looking to improve things and get their app working as best as it can be. The update today improved a few things including visual effects of the app when in full screen. It also added the Zelle functionality and improved mobile check deposit. I am very pleased with this and look forward to future updates!

At least once a week, if not more, the app is down and mobile banking is “unavailable”. Like today my paycheck was deposited and I’m unable to see the amount of my check. You also cannot click on a transaction to get more details or info like I can with my two other banks. It’s also frustrating because they have an entire separate app to control your card, shut it off/cancel it. Never heard of that in my life needing a separate app, but okay. I also find the formatting and look of the app very outdated and not user friendly. It reminds me of the small county banks that just released an app for mobile banking
