I like having this app as it identifies places that may be affected. However its alerts are too wide. A local one is listed as 24 hours continuous works over a period of a month. This ended up being 8pm to 5am over one night during that period. The mobile sign posted on the road had a shorter period indicate but even that gave a fortnight span for ‘nightworks’. Being close to the road sleep was impossible while it was happening. However with these unhelpful indicators one didnt know whether to live somewhere else temporarily. Both the signage and app could be more specific. This intersection is still marked on the map even though their one night was a week ago.

Having to travel much of the state and CBD I use this app all day and everyday. Previously, I could choose a route according to traffic conditions. Roads were easy to decipher whether traffic was light, medium or heavy by the colour of the road. The screen was easy to move with one finger. The latest update may as well be a screen shot of Victoria. No relevant information is readily available. My previous rating was 5 stars. The new update is useless as teets on a bull. Please fix so that live traffic conditions are easy to find. Make it the first screen when opening the app. Don’t give this project to a kid that’s doing computer science for their grade 3 assignment.

I appreciate they have bought back some of the apps features, but this app is still pretty useless. One of the main losses of functionality that has not been brought back is the ability to view the Google Traffic colours. The whole purpose of “VicTraffic” is to provide traffic information so the fact they removed this feature is unacceptable. This makes the app pretty much useless as I am far more interested in traffic than incidents/road closures and I’m not going to check two apps (Google Maps & VicTraffic) before travelling.

I know this has been requested numerous times before but can you PLEASE bring back the traffic congestion colours on the map! ie. red = heavy orange = medium green = light Otherwise a great app. Use it everyday. Have been using it for years. I now rely on it but have to check in with other apps like google maps & Waze to check traffic congestion on a route when it starts getting heavy to find an alternate route around it. Thank you.

I just looked for the first time this year to see travel time on my saved routes ... they are gone. This was the most useful part of this app. No indication of how heavy traffic is on my proposed route or where the problems are. I travel the Monash but usually the problems are at the end, not where I travel but the travel time is for the whole route, the breakdowns are not that helpful. Overall this is not an improvement at all, in my view it’s a real backward step and I will most probably delete it from my devices.
