UOB TMRW

Just recently updated to the latest version 11.3.0 and realised something. On previous versions, whenever going to multitasking view, the app preview will be blank meaning nobody can see the account details unless you go back to the app itself. However on the latest version 11.3.0, going to multitasking view, the app snapshot still remains and even after sometime of using other apps the snapshot still remains in the multitasking view. Is this intended or a bug? Cause the previous iteration (blank snapshot) seems to be the way to protect customer’s information albeit less convenience. Hope you guys can let us know how our privacy’s being protected. Thanks.

I'm an angry customer. I've come overseas, and you know what I was expecting to see in Singapore excellent financial services but what I get. Totally unusable mobile application. It's so buggy than I tired to fight with it. Every time happens something. I'm active mightly secure, but after close an app I got, I'm feeling really exhausted. How much time do I need to do this? I can't use "pay now," anything. I read all this review on App Store and seems like people got stuck with the same kind of problem over and over. Maybe it's time to think about it. Still, with UOB mobile banking, my range of emotions changing from apathy to angry, I never fill satisfaction with it. I don't know why, but it seems like your mobile development department is unprofessional. If this will continue, I think I will switch a bank. It looks like DBS is much better in terms of mobile access. Because mobile it's my entry point of managing my finance, and I don't want to use a bank which can provide me with such experience in the 2019 year.

UOB app is Super lagging when log in. It takes few mins keep turning but just cannot log in. Always have to close the whole app and retry again. Even after successfully log into the mobile app, when switch to another service, it will lag again. Then I have to close the whole app again and retry to log in. Just performing one transaction it takes me more than 10 mins to log in close app and log in! Terrible banking app among all the mobile banking app that I have installed. In a digital era, UOB must be willing to invest in the technical infrastructure rather than just changing the look on the mobile app. A beautiful artistic look but lagging poor performance banking app doesn’t help to win customers. Pls do something to your app to stop it to be so lagging. It’s really very annoying to use UOB banking app.

Of many banking apps I have, UOB’s is the worst and it’s no where near Mighty. It is slow, and it keeps stalling on each click and no transactions can be made. Each transaction and each click has a buffer when it’s working properly, and this should not be the case at it causes a lot of delay and frustration. No banking apps I have used would have that each-click buffer for 2 seconds. PayNow button is there but it’s out of reach. Click on it and it keeps buffering. Even after reinstallation it does not work still. To do yourselves a favour, go analyse the Maybank app and fire your current team that develops this horrid mighty app. The app does not deserve Ang star at all but I had to give one star which Is a minimum rating.

Being overseas, it is really important that we are able to have access effortlessly to our banks back home. App is always lagging and logging in becomes a hassle. Currently as im facing an issue of not being able to receive my sms notifications, im currently unable to use this app at all. Designing an app and UI , you definitely have to think about user experience . Im not sure if the app is design with this in mind as compared to other banks, this is really one of the most frustrating app and bank and definitely not friendly to people like us who work overseas. Hopefully we get to see a better version soon and u really put customers experience as the top priority when you are designing it.
