scream  Why to reply to reviews?

User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.

I’ve been using this app across various devices. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, software fully updated with an updated version of twitter as well. I’ve tried reaching out to twitter support and no response. My issue is that my timeline lags and freezes consistently every 10 seconds or so. The rest of my phone and it’s apps work fine. I can’t scroll, I can’t retweet, I can close the app and open it again only to have the issue still be there. It’s completely unresponsive for 10 seconds or so before the cycle continues. It’s absolutely infuriating. I’ve tried logging out, restarting my phone, deleting the cache on the twitter app, I’ve even uninstalled this app at least twice with no result. It does this when I’m connected to my home WiFi, or on data, or when I’m connected to public and work WiFi. It has nothing to do with my connection. I’ve tried to look up the issue and it seems like there are some people that have this same issue but no solutions are given. Please fix this twitter, I love using this app as a de-stressor

I made my account in early March. I am 15 years old (born December of 2003) I realized in my bio that I had put 2002 as my birth year. So I went to change it to 2003 and it immediately locked me out of my account saying I didn’t meet the age requirement which is 13 years old. I sent them a picture of my student ID for verification (they ask for your birth certificate, ID and passport which I thought was a bit sketchy at first) which had my grade level and entire name. They emailed me back about an hour later saying it wasn’t proper identification. So I just went ahead and sent them my passport photo with my name and date of birth. A day goes by and they email me back saying that I am under 13 years old and can’t give me back my account. I have redone the report with my passport multiple times to see if I can have them review it again but still no answer back. It’s obvious that a computer is going over these age requirement issues because any other person would realize that a child born in 2003 is over 13 years old. I am very disappointed. I have been told my numerous of friends that twitter was a great app and it was until this happened. I used it to interact with my friends and now I have no way of contacting them.

Every single time i interact with someone via commenting back and forth, nothing aggressive or rude ever, like every single time they lock and suspend my account and if you create a new one eventually it just has the same thing happen to it. And they never respond to your tickets if you make one to get it fixed, I don’t understand how people actually use this app. Like if they stopped doing this to people they’d probably have less random profiles. I’ve been deleted 3 times so at this point I’m just over it and will not even waste my time again. It’s like right when I get some followers and follow all my favorite accounts they just suspend my account anyways so what’s the point. Update- I just checked my old account and it’s still suspended (3 weeks later) and I have NO response from the twitter team so I tried to just delete my account and it won’t let me even do that since it’s suspended. It removed all of my followers and all the people I was following from my account as well. It’s like they do this and then they make it so you can’t reach out and you can’t tell anybody or tweet about it because they block you from doing EVERYTHING.

Twitter locks you out of your account for no reason. It’s very stressful. I’ve used twitter for years and in the past two years I’ve been locked out about over 10 times. I’ve done nothing for this to happen! When I made my account I was 13 (the required age) but it wouldn’t let me put my birth year (2000) so for the past 6 years I had to put 1995. Every now and then I would try to put in my real birth year but it still wouldn’t let me. I tried again today and surprisingly, it let me. Immediately after Twitter locked me out and removed my account from the site. They keep saying I’m under 13 or was younger when I made the account. They also said you have to send in a picture of your ID to get it back. Because of personal reasons, I don’t have any sort of ID. I sent in a picture of my birth certificate, hoping it works. I made a second account to message them but it kept on saying that Twitter Support wasn’t responsive at this moment. After a couple of hours they then locked me out of my new account. This experience made me not want to get on twitter anymore. I got on the app almost everyday. This is very stressful. Please fix this Twitter!

Twitter isn’t functional because you can’t easily remove followers. Twitter doesn’t recognize that people have different needs over time. Many of us got on expressly to discuss politics. You follow and are followed by thousands of people. Now you want to switch to your real name and focus on people doing a particular workout challenge or use the account for some other, less toxic reason. You either have to delete the account, wait a period of time and start over (losing all your follows) or block every account you don’t want following you anymore, one at a time. Twitter is full of bots supporting the right wing, far left extremists and fake accounts. If you’re there for politics you can’t use your real name because you will be threatened and harassed. One person told me she could find out everything about me and ruin my life. Someone I follow used her real name and a harasser find out the name of the woman’s father’s business and filled yelp with negative reviews. It can at times be a place for “friendship” or learning and even uplifting but it can also be a vile, depressing place.
