Tourney - Tournament Helper

This app generates tournaments pretty easily and it's intuitive. I also love that it saves your tourneys w/ names. Unfortunately, in running an MTG Swiss tournament - as others said - it did not pair the 2-0 players in round 3 of an 8-man. Very disappointing finish. Please add the following - I would easily pay $3-5 to have all of these: 1. Correct Pairings for entire tourney 2. Strength of victory/OMW% (2-0 vs. 2-1 matters for tiebreakers) 3. A basic, built-in round timer would be a sweet bonus.

I Like what I see, it’s very good for matching people but it needs to add higher ranking players together also a drop out feature would be very nice when players start dropping out after around three.

The basic job of the app is to produce viable tournament pairings. For Swiss tournaments, this means pairing players with similar records to stratify results and identify a winner. It cannot do this. It can track configurable points per win/loss/tie but can't identify match percentages or opponents' strength. And in two test events it couldn't match 2-0 players in the third round of an 8-person event.

Tournament breaking bugs; not being able to properly set match results and getting wrong pairings in the final round of a nine person tournament. Nice presentation, but I can't use an app that breaks the two times I've tried it.

I had an 8 player Swiss tournament. Final round it didn't pair the 2-0 players and paired people who had already played each other. Looks nice but if it can't do a basic Swiss, I don't think it's worth anything.
