The Mindfulness Meditation App

I recently wanted to try meditation to help control my anxiety and feel better. I heard many strong reviews about Calm, but all that they offer can only be accessed through a paid membership, which is not affordable at all. So, I found this app, which is free ;)... I think that it is really good and has helped me find ways to better myself. I would appreciate it if they added just a music option that way I can meditate by myself as well as with the guide. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else but the app closes out every time your phone locks. For iPhone users, you can fix it by changing your auto-lock to “Never” while you are meditating ( be sure to turn off low power mode). Other than that it is an amazing app, and I can’t wait to use it more often!

I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now and I love the content, the meditations so far have been 5-9 minutes which is a good length for me to do in the morning. The only thing is that I have to make sure my phone stays awake the entire time or the App will crash and then I have to start the session over and find where it left off. Obviously I don’t want to have to interrupt my meditation several times to touch my phone’s screen, so this is a bit annoying but probably an easy fix on the back end. I hope they come out with an update to fix this soon. Also, the App does not keep track of my progress and what meditations have already been done. I wish it would so I wouldn’t have to remember or guess at this.

EDIT x2: All of the meditations are back! They still cut out about 30 seconds in, but if you set your phone to automatically turn off to ”Never, ” you'll be able to play them to the finish. A bit of an inconvenience, so my review is still 4 stars, but at least they're back up. EDIT: Now NONE of the medications are working! A few other users described this same thing, and unless it's fixed soon I don't think I'll be keeping this app. This app is pretty great! A decent amount of stuff, all for free! One problem I have, though, is that the app exits out of itself about a minute into any meditation, which isn’t really ideal. If that were fixed, I’d consider adding a star to my review.

I tried this game out and it was amazing, but they are if you want things like you can choose to make it better. First, the meditations were really great but maybe you could do a different voice. Next, you can also have a lot more meditations you can choose from. Also, I had fun using this but the meditation should be a little tiny bit longer so you can relieve that stress. And, I know this is a meditation app, but maybe you could do some motivational music in it in case someone doesn’t need to meditate and they just want Some motivational music. Like I said earlier I love this app and it really helps me through the day it is actually one of the things in my morning routine! You should get it. Peace out!

Adore the app! Especially since calm app took away majority of their free stuff. The only fault in this app is I wish there was a way to play the meditation music w/ out the words and that the sleepsounds didn’t seem so choppy, like we’re more cohesive/blended better bcuz I can hear the pause when the short sound clip starts over. It should be seamless. Also it would be dope if we could listen to the music for more than 40 mins. But it’s a free app so I’m not really complaining just thought it would be helpful info for the makers.
