This is a great idea. I used it to hire a young lady to help with a party. Neither her nor I knew what and how it was going to be charged and the commission the app would take when the job was over. Now the app keeps crashing every time I click on something on the map. There needs to be a better way to communicate with potential hires or see who is interested in the job. It is just a blank slate when one inputs the job and basically just wait and pray that someone will response by the time the date comes around.

This app is great! I’ve been able to find jobs nearby that actually pay a lot more then I’ve found elsewhere, and I’ve met some great people doing it. It’s great how you can just open the app and see what’s available nearby and claim a job just like that! In theory, you can also chat with the poster and get paid automatically. Unfortunately, the chat is hard to use because it doesn’t send notifications when you get a message, so you have to check it. Instead I’ve just put my email in my bio. Also, most times I’ve finished a job, there’s been some sort of error (not always the app’s fault) that makes it so I don’t get paid automatically. But it’s really easy to contact support and get paid. Some other cons that don’t really affect the usability of the app but could be changed: Please add iPhone X support and I don’t like how every time you move the app it reloads. I’d prefer if it just took longer to load when you first opened it than how it is. But overall, I love TeenJobFind!

I’m a parent of twins and am in constant search of trustworthy, caring babysitters. When we moved back to my hometown, we didn’t know any teens, and once we did find them in our neighborhood, they were constantly booked doing after school activities. I use TeenJobFind at least twice a month—sometimes as often as twice a week. I’ve never been disappointed with the sitters we use (about 6 now) and by communicating directly with the CEO, we’re often able to request one of our favorites. We never have to worry about having enough cash on hand, because it’s all handled by the app. Plus, if we need to, we can easily communicate directly with our sitter through messaging. Everyone goes through a background check—so sitters’ parents are as confident and comfortable as we are. A must have tool for busy parents—even if you have a regular sitter.

I am a broke thirteen yer old in need of a job. I found this app and was like “JACKPOT!!” It turns out my friend uses it too and it worked like a charm for her. However, when I went to use it, I tried all of the zip codes in my area and it still didn’t work. It kept saying “Service not available here”. I’ve noticed a lot of other people have had this problem and it is very annoying. Although this is a great app idea, I wish you could make it available everywhere. Thanks!

My cousin and I were searching for a summer job as we were broke and need something to do. When we tried to make an account it said that service was not yet available in our area. We then tried using different zip codes around our area and still no luck. I am guessing when the area your in is recognized this app actually is very helpful but for me and I’ve noticed other people unfortunately we couldn’t use the service.
