TalkCosenza aims to promote and enhance the artistic and cultural heritage in the city, through appropriate support technologies that will make the experience of an unforgettable visit. Starting from the Bilotti open-air museum, it will give voice to all the works of particular importance immersed in the context of Cosenza. We will provide multimedia contents related to points of interest that can be traced through navigation on the map. All markers are visible and clickable and the user can choose between the different points located around him accompanied by a window containing a preview image of the place and a title. The "Smart Visit" mode gives the user the opportunity to discover nearby works simply by notifying their presence. Near a point of interest, the App recognizes it and proposes its use, to then suggest, later, the visit of the other points in the immediate vicinity. The "Smart" use can also be ensured through the use of Beacon scanning positioned near the works. The "City" and "Comune" sections describe specifically the historical and cultural aspects related to the city of Cosenza and the municipality. The interaction is supported by the use of the map that indicates all the points of interest available; but also from a "Catalog" mode that guarantees efficient management of offline content, allowing quick consultation of previously downloaded content. The information sheet contains the contents and the multimedia of the object of interest. The card provides information content expressed in descriptions, image galleries and descriptive audio. In some cases it will be possible to take advantage of the virtualizations of some navigable environments or to manipulate a 3D reconstruction of a specific work. All contents are certified and validated by qualified personnel and made available in Italian and English. TalkCosenza offers the possibility to receive notifications and updates, by receiving Push notifications. Communications may be different depending on the content (weather alerts, communications from the municipality, events, etc. ..). At the first start it will be possible for users to register indicating little information in a detail window. Please note that TalkCosenza is an official mobile application, developed in collaboration with the municipality of Cosenza.
