Star Wars Force Band by Sphero

My wife got this for me for Christmas. I was worried it was just for kids but I'm having so much fun with it. If I was 8 years old again I never would take it off. My son's a little young for it but I can't wait to show my nephew's, they are going to flip out when they play with it. I also got the bb-8 which just adds to the fun. I highly recommend!

This is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I just have the band and I love it. With finding holocrons it has this Pokémon go kinda feel to it. What would make this app better would be more story mode like missions like it had at the beginning, where you find the force band and control B.B.8 on the phone vs having the actual droid. Maybe lightsaber training? Finding more holocrons. Oh and with force awareness having lightsaber battles? I think adding some features like those and adding onto already there content would be awesome.

I've been a long time SW fan 20+ years and got BB-8 last year. I was happy to see the band was offered by itself. Been using it on and off for 2 months. Accumulated many Holocrons but frankly I'm completely over getting ones from Force Awakens. The developers tried to sneak in things like C3P0 first appearance 1977, but it's all Force Awakens graphics. Figuring out how to keep the holicron gameplay going is not self evident, but you can figure it out eventually. The key is to recycle the band after each capture. The in game apps are fun, would want more variety, even for purchase. The armory needs upgrades as well. Controlling BB-8 takes some practice, but most of all, calibration. Follow the onscreen instructions carefully. Overall good app but again needs more variety to truly show off the diversity of the Star Wars Universe.

I have only the band itself until I find a good deal on a BB-8. It’s fun finding holocrons, but I don’t see the point of most of them, other than tidbits of information. I do see the possibilities of adding something like Jedi training aspects to it. Also, updated holocrons from The Last Jedi, and maybe some “teaser” holocrons for the next movie would make it a lot more enjoyable.

I love the force band but it could improve and the reason is that I collected all of the holocrons and I feel like you should be able to use more of the blasters like captain phasmas and all the other ones that you can't use and there should be more features to the force band. Amazing toy and app but has room to improve so try to add more holocrons and more features to the app
