I dealt with customer service on 2 occasions and it was thru apps chat. Simply superb. I had issues resolved within minutes. I’m using this card more and more. Random perks just keep coming. I can’t say enough about how good of an experience I’ve had with this app and the card itself.

It’s a pain to activate this card. Once received they set you up with a random 4 digit pin. And I did change the pin to my personal one. Tried shopping with it twice, pin got rejected. Then called up customer support, then I was informed that I should take it to an ATM machine and check balance to activate it. I did try that, but none of the ATM machines had an option to check my card balance. But since the pin got accepted at ATM, tried another transaction at store. Failed again and account got locked after 3 attempts. Called up support, then was informed this funny concept. That not all ATM machines support balance check. And they asked me to go keep trying different ATM machines until I find that option or do a transaction. Funny part is, they initially give u only $20. And to perform a transaction at ATM , then minimum is $20 and on top of that they charge $3 fee. So in total the transaction of $23 failed as I don’t have that balance. Indirectly these smart guys are making us load the card (minimum load is $50). For the Stack team: It was so frustrating to go around hunting ATM machines that would do a balance check and even after 6 different ATM (all leading banks) , I failed to do so. And I’m no way doing a top up on card that has such poor process and of course zero clarity. Goodbye Stack and I’m going to ask my friends whom I referred (should never have ) to stop using Stack!!!

From the Terms of Use of a company that wants to be the middle man between you and your money: "In no event shall the total and aggregate liability of STACK exceed $25.00." Hard to take a fintech company seriously when they lead with that.

Loaded just under 2500$ onto the card, card froze, contacted them Friday @5, waited on hold till close. Sat&Sun they’re closed. So waited the weekend, called Monday, 24-48 hrs until someone “may” call me back. Then another 24-48 hrs until block is removed and card is useable again. So technically, wait a week until you can access your funds. Don’t waste your time!! ++ Worst customer service ever! 75 minutes on hold!! The woman just kept on reading the same lines over and over again. This isn’t 25/250$ being held up. My vacation will be over by the time I can access my vacation funds.

Whether planning strong financial impactful goals or just simple little transactional goals, when all else seems to be falling apart in life or coming together depending on what angle one looks au things, there’s a little inspiration in this application seen from a birds eye view. Whether you have access to credit or not and whether it’s this card or another, there’s often a need to use a prepaid card. It’s knowing when and where to use it that’s sometimes the challenging part. For me, was able to upload funds to my Stack Card using the applications functions at that specific time where now, seems like these functions since have been temporarily suspended, where I had to purchase copyrights ©️ from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office where had a gut feeling that IP is probably not something one would want to purchase on regular credit card and should be something paid for upfront status. Due to those purchased online of course, one is limited in online purchase options but then the functionalities of a prepaid card bring forth the ability to prepay something so precious as ones IP. On regular credit, I would have been left chasing after my mind for the rest of my life possibly. Now, I’m in a position where it seems that my life is in come cents and dollars coming to me. Rather than I running after it till no end or finish line, because of prepaid credit... I was able to better direct my efforts and energy towards building the credit and taking interest and holding interest rather than paying interest. On my scenario, I have merchant accounts, but why owe a credit company or card for something so precious as my own IP in my scenario. Credit is precious. It’s sometimes how it’s used and in knowing when to use the right one at what time and at what place. Michel J Maillet.
