I actually really enjoyed this app. *enjoyed* I made a few friends and even gave Snapchat and other social media to the few that were *normal*. I then deleted my main account and revisited about 6-7 months later - (even though I deactivated my account and my main email was no longer in use, it would not let me use it again ) so I used a work email. Some guys on here don’t take kindly when you don’t want to give them social media or fake sugar daddies try to scam you. I don’t think much of it when I see the conversation suddenly disappearing and I know they blocked me. But for some reason my account gets blocked/banned and I can’t log in anymore DUE to a number of people blocking me I assume?? That make sense I guess. So I try again months after (here we are today) and use various other emails I make up on the spot because I want to use this app and talk with people again, however every time I log on after an hour or so it gives it the message “Your email has been blocked”. What am I supposed to do when my first two emails aren’t usable anymore AND don’t have an account behind them? There’s other apps out there I suppose. 👋🏼

Age preferences should be fixed. If you have your age preferences set to 18-21 there should be no reason why someone 42 yrs old can message you/appear as a match. Also maybe a setting where you have to accept pictures? Sending nudes is entirely too common on this site. Maybe blocking IP addresses after so many accounts made - the same person can make like 5 accounts and harass you. There’s a guy who’ve I’ve blocked and reported well about 7 times (probably more) and their IP or email should’ve been blocked after the first 2 or 3 times. Also, the location setting is not good at all. Sometimes I get locals but most of the time, I get people on my meet tab from one state over at the closest. Honestly, if you 1. fixed the thing with age preferences (people your age contact you), 2. made it easier for harassers to get blocked and 3. Added an “accept photo” feature MORE WOMEN would use the app and actually stay :) one of the reasons why there’s more men than women on the app is because women get nudes sent to them by creeps. Also wouldn’t mind a stealth option

Waaay too many bugs right now. My app glitches, it freezes, it crashes. When I open the app after switching between others, music will play but I’m not sure from where? The only way to make it stop is to either force-close the app or wait about 30-45 seconds for the music to stop looping.... Even worse? My phone volume is OFF, so I’m not sure how you’re making the music blast through. My messages don’t send right, I constantly have to restart the app, I’ve noticed the Match section glitches a lot and will show me usernames and profile pictures do not match up... Another issue is that I can’t seem to type out a buzz on the iPhone app, I had to log onto the browser to do it. That would be a great feature to be added so the extra step wouldn’t have to be taken every time... I like the app but the bugs are CRAZY! Please fix this, it could be great! I used to have an account a long time ago and the app has improved since I’ve been back, but it’s not going to be any better if we can’t even use it.

I recently got the Skout app because my friend was on here looking for a relationship. I went on because we are both young and inexperienced, it gave me an opportunity to look for new friends and possibly a new partner as well (since the person I am currently seeing is shallow). A few issues regarding the app’s overall performance is it’s glitches. When scrolling, the screen constantly glitches up or down and makes it difficult to reach a specific chat, possibly because the ads they stuff in there are always moving. Along with that, the live feeds are very cluttered, the search bar that allows people to look for live feeds near or around their area is hidden under the live button, which makes it more difficult. From what I know there is no possible way to contact Skout’s team in order to report disruptive behavior or bugs, which would be very helpful in a case of glitchy bugs.

No one appears to read profiles on this app. You specifically state, when you sign up, that you want only local and age specific people contacting you, however, you get people from all over the world and a bunch of scammers. They’ll let anybody post a picture on here, unlike other sites where the pictures have to get approved. It’s disgusting when you open up a profile and see someone’s half naked, bony chest full of hair or 300 pound blob staring you in the face, LOL or no picture at all but a bunch of stupid, miss-spelled words. Then there’s the guys who want to do nothing but harass you and those that are on here to cheat on their wives. I only wish the admins who run this site would weed out the bad ones and it would be nice if these sites would start doing background checks on its members. I had an ex-boyfriend create a profile under a fake ID and pretend he was my son and I had to write to the people here and get law enforcement involved. You shouldn’t have to do that; you should feel fairly safe when you sign up for these websites.
