App is dumb. Doesn’t do info fields so that IOS can fill in my address. Once you click on a field, you can’t know what the field is for. There’s a date field. Click on it. It goes to 2002. No word about what it is. I started over and carefully read the content before entering the field. IOS generate password doesn’t work with the password field. It keeps saying no match. Plus if you say to use a strong password, it fouls up the screen so you have to click a bunch to be able to type a password. Also you have to search to scan the Noom barcode. Hard to find the right place. They should have seen by my email that they had sent a kit already and offered to scan first thing and then logged me in without reentering. Also, I question the need for all that info. There is no indicator of what is optional. Why my phone and address and email? Wait ... they mailed me a kit. They know my address. All around very poor app.

I have used this service for a couple different tests, each were very informative. One I did when I joined Noom for weight loss and it explained each combo of DNA that was obtained and what it meant for my weight loss journey. Super helpful. The other I did for fun, but I was also curious what my DNA had to say about my habits, intelligence and so on. Love how I can click between the different combos to see what is common and what my DNA combo means when it isn’t the most common combo. Didn’t have trouble scanning the label on the tube, it took me longer to drive it down to the post office than it took to swan the inside of my cheek. 😉 Worth every penny. Read other people’s reviews.. my test only took about 5 weeks.. definitely not a scam. I even ordered a second test from them and it was processed even quicker. Not sure what they did wrong. I had no problem entering my information online and when I contacted customer service about a question on a test, I received a prompt response not canned and would use the service again. Never had issues.

My husband and I did the nutrition (I did fitness nutrition combo.) the results came on time as promised (within 4 weeks) and were a lot of fun. They didn’t tell us anything we didn’t know about ourselves and in my case, two of the category results seemed to contradict each other. But we enjoyed it. I also ordered the beauty test and submitted it at the same time, but never received the results. Two months went by. They offered me new mini kits for my wait, but having order the 3 big ones the mini kits seemed redundant. I requested a refund, which they obliged. I read online that they’re tests aren’t entirely accurate and that in one case they were unable to identify a sample as coming from someone’s dog. So again, fun, like reading your horoscope or a fortune, but not necessarily medical grade quality results.

I bought this test from a local drugstore. Easy to complete test and then mail back. That was 4 months ago. Emailed asking for an update, took two weeks to respond to an email and they sent me an attachment that was blank. Emailed again, this time three days to reply and said there has been a delay that they mag have to go to storage to get my sample or I may have to provide another one. I wrote back asking why they don’t know if they need to get a new sample... seems they have no idea what they are doing. Received an email back right away that my results would be updated “shortly”. That was 17 days ago. They say results are available in 6-8 weeks. It’s been 6 weeks since I’ve asked for an update. Worthless. I don’t even have any recourse to get my money back. I have used 23andMe and they are spectacular. I only chose this product because of the nutritional analysis they do. Seems I may never get my results. DO NOT USE!!!!

I received the nutrition test for my birthday to really determine, nail down issues with possible food sensitivities. I submitted my results and received notification they were being processed on January 25th, it is now April 4th and nothing. Once I received the test (as a gift) I went and started reading reviews. I was given the receipt incase I wanted to take it back, but thought no I’ll try it out. All the reviews I read were BAD! From timelessness issues, swab results having to be redone, lack of communication and customer service, and even swabbing their dogs mouth and yet they claimed the sample was still human DNA! Word of advice and hopefully you haven’t wasted your money yet, if so take it back or ask for a refund. I am beyond mad I asked for this as a gift and $150 is down the drain! So many other reliable services out there, stay clear of any of Orig3n’s!
