Sea Trials - USCG License Exam

So I used this to study for my 3rd AE Unlimited HP and DDE tests. I also used a the paper study guide and a USB from Mariner Adv. They all had there pluses and minuses. Specifically, I really liked how the questions were broken down into sections so I could focus on one thing at a time. Also was WAY more convenient to do the questions on my phone than having to have a laptop with me. I did have one problem when I went to purchase a 3 month membership, my connectivity on my phone caused me to get charges but denied me the access on the app. I emailed them about the problem and it was resolved in a few hours with them going above and beyond. Totally recommend this app for studying.

Wish I found this app earlier! Studying for my 3rd engineering license couldn’t have been any easier while using this app. This app allows you to study the sections you need to focus on to pass the license test and allows you to bookmark troublesome questions to review later.

I purchased the app from a recommendation of a friend and it’s a great app! 2 complaints I have, 1. When you exit out of an illustration some times it exits out of the whole module. If you accidentally hit the exit button, it exits and you have to start the module over. A simple “are you sure you want to exit” would prevent that. 2. I used the app for about 6 months to study for my 3 a/e unlimited. I passed every thing with no problems on the first try except motors 2. The app doesn’t include a lot of the questions on the motors 2 involving aux boilers, charge systems, governors, and a few other subjects. Motors 2 is more in-depth and would really like to see those questions in the app.

So far I really like this app. A couple things would be nice to see, a total accumulation of how many times you have taken each test in order to get a better grasp of your averages. The ability to purchase the app's as it's on the expensive side for an app especially as it's per month or three months. I've noticed a couple questions that are incorrect according to the USCG rules of the road book. Definitely a great app overall.

There’s a lot to like here. The app is easy to use. You can generate practice tests. It seems to be actively developed. And maybe best of all, it’s quite affordable compared to some of its competitors. About the only thing keeping it from being perfect, in my view, is that your progress isn’t synced between apps or the website. Hopefully that is a feature coming in a new release.
