Sacramento Region Air Quality

Until the latest iOS update, this app worked flawlessly. Occasionally reporting stations failed to appear, but appeared later after connections seem to have been restored. HOWEVER since the latest iOS update, when I have attempted to check on our air quality caused by the Camp Fire, I receive a massively expanded image of the app icon with no way to access the air quality reports. The only solution has been to delete the app and reinstall. I wonder if it is failing when I close the app while still in one of the reporting regions. Don’t know why this would be a problem, but I will back up to the 4 region start page every time I close the app from now on. Hope that is a workaround until the app is fixed.

Basic is good but too simple can leave much to be desired. I would recommend adding a setting for home location so when you open the app AQI and other info about your home location appears first. Favorites and a widget would also be nice. I would like to see this modeled similarly to most weather apps.

App has all the surrounding cities including natomas (which is an area, not a city) but doesn’t have West Sacramento. The numbers vary from Davis to Natomas to Sacramento. Other than that, app is great.

Really easy app to use and straightforward: you pick your region and the closest monitoring station to see the current air quality status, today's forecast, and tomorrow's forecast. Con: it would be nice to be able to set a monitoring station so that you don't have to go through picking your region and closest monitoring station every time. But I doubt the Air Quality board has tons of money to spend on the nuances of app development and it's not a big deal. This app does what it needs to do. Never again will I accidentally go for an hour long run outside on a Spare the Air day!
