Rope'n'Fly 3 - Dusk Till Dawn

This game just doesn’t get old. I mean it is old; I think I first downloaded this like 6 years ago, which seems ancient for an iPhone game. What I mean to say is that despite this game being old, it never GETS old. It’s fun, easy to play when you only have a minute or two on the John, and is also very relaxing. I have anxiety, and sometimes when I get worked up this game really helps me to take a few deep breaths and get my heart rate down. It’s mindless fun. I’ve been playing this game for years and I’m only now writing a review. I’m seeing a lot of the games I play start to go away due to lack of updates or interest, and I hope this game doesn’t follow suit.

As the title says, I haven’t played this game in FOREVER. This game is a childhood game that goes along with the jetpack game even if it’s not the same version. I absolutely adore the game and there is nothing I would “fix”. Highly recommended for players of all ages for anytime you’re bored and don’t know what to do with you’re life. For all new players, HAVE FUNNNN!!!

A simple rehashing of a game mechanic that other games do better. There are no incentives to keep you invested beyond seeing how long you can make your character swing. No unlockables to work towards or achievements to be earned. On top of that, the rope mechanic is clunky and sometimes behaves more like a stick. This is especially evident when it is shot forward, and completely stops your forward momentum, as if you have run into a wall. And finally, even after paying to remove ads they still put up ads for their own products that often cannot be closed and require you to restart the game. With a little effort this could've been a really fun game. Unfortunately that effort was not taken and it is mediocre with a side of annoying.

This is such a classic game, I remember playing this game on my first generation IPod touch. It never gets old really, the gameplay is so simple and addicting. However, the person who decided it was a good idea to put a banner ad at the top of the screen (probably to maximize the amount of accidental clicks they get on the ad) is a major a**. Also, an ad after every death? No thank you. This game is only really playable with your device on airplane mode or with an ad blocker on, and it’s a very good game when it is.

on a demo for something i'm evaluating to buy? 'Hey, lets make the guy wait, then he'll be really motivated to buy!' Yeah, either that or lose interest. Please don't waste my time. At least do the ad bomb thing on the second day or something, once we've had a reasonable chance to evaluate and purchase it. i was kind of getting into it, then some inane half minute ad stops me in my tracks. now, its time to delete. sorry.
