Return to Grisly Manor LITE

This is a very solid game, in that it runs flawlessly and the game updates according to your progress so it prevents any confusion. It is very straightforward: you solve a puzzle and then go to the next, often by using an item somewhere or by doing an actual puzzle. I bought the full game from this "Free" version, I should've just bought the regular version. This is a pretty great game for younger people. It would probably be an excellent first game for a point and click adventure.

Fire Maple is one of my favorite developers out there! They, along with MediaCity and Lone Wolf Games, make the most entrancing escape adventures, which encourage intellectual stimulation where one will think critically for him/herself. The premise is unconventional and refreshing as it is void of "copied and pasted" ideas. I feel myself mesmerized by the impeccably untarnished graphics, which draw considerable attention to detail. The colors reflect soft and subtle shades to induce a mild and pacifying ambiance. Navigation is fluid and effortless. Using your journal entries and collecting clues to solve puzzles contribute towards an innervating experience. The only negative aspect is that I wish a teleport map would have been included to allow one to directly jump to a desired location in order to save time and obviate consistent breaks in concentration. If you are someone like me who abstains from using hints, this game is lengthy and satisfying. Can't wait for their next one!

My entire family get excited when fire maple releases a new game. We almost feel guilty binge playing each of their new adventures knowing that it takes far longer to develop an adventure this beautiful and immersive then it does to to play through.

LOVED this game! Thoughtful, lots to explore and just the right amount of challenge to keep it interesting and not frustrating. I was happy to pay for it and I hope their other games are as good. Sadly, I did not enjoy the first installment of grisly manor. Short, boring, and I really wish I hadn’t paid for it.

I played the Lite version and then decided to purchase the full version. Purchased the full version within the game and played until I found the deed and gave it to the old man. Went to bed. Tried to continue the game the next day and now I am back in current time, NO DEED, the old man doesn’t have it though I gave it to him, and cannot find a way to fix this without having to replay the hours of the game I already successfully completed. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
