This is occasionally a great app and photographic panning device. But it is flaky and unreliable. The connection to my Nikon is intermittent. This could be much better. You can see the developers have abandoned any recent upgrades. And their production line is seriously delayed. It may work for you. Bust beware.

another failed upgrade. radian2 was working fine now it will not connect via bluetooth. radian is now nonfunctional. DO NOT INSTALL this "upgrade"! please test thoroughly before updating. and please create a way to revert to previous version. it worked fine.

Spent money on this and it worked a couple of times but now when I plug my camera and phone in it just takes off and does whatever it wants. Absolute garbage support options too. DONT BUT THE PRODUCT AT ALL

After going through two firmware upgrades and not the application upgrade, I had great hope. However, the application still doesn't work for camera settings. I also think having to pause the time lapse to look at the thumbnail makes it virtually useless interval is more than 10 seconds. Lastly, I can't test the camera settings adjustment which was the primary reason to even purchase the device in the first place because it doesn't yet work in this app. Going back to my Astro which is more reliable. Too bad. I really wanted this type of technology to work out. Maybe will try again when there are a few more versions.

This app programs the Radian time lapse device from Alpine Labs. The app is super easy to use and has so far been flawless. I am very impressed by the elegant simplicity of the use of the phone audio cable as the method for programming the Radian device - inspired! Programming takes just a few seconds and the phone can be disconnected immediately afterwards. The app keeps track of the Radian progress and also allows multiple programs to be uploaded in sequence for special effects. Really, really, cool! Radian and its app is highly recommended for anyone interested in time lapse photography.
