Quicky Sticky Notes

This is what I needed, a place to leave short notes, and shows up in the widgets and lockscreen so I don’t forget about it. It needs a couple little tweaks— the text on the widget looks weird like it’s falling off the bottom of the note, the keyboard almost blocks the controls when typing and you can’t minimize the keyboard, and the text switches from centered to right justified on different lines for no reason. But overall the little quirks don’t matter much.

It does exactly what it promises, no more, no less. It does something I find annoying, however. Whenever the app is open it changes everything on my iPad to VERTICAL. I can only go back to the horizontal format after I close this application. Surely the developers can do something about this? It wastes time. Otherwise I would give it five stars. Otherwise it’s great, thank you 😊

This app is almost perfect. The only small things I would change is that it would expand the more I typed in, instead of disappearing the way it does now, and that it would show up on my lock screen. Besides those tiny deets, it’s been magical. I put my immediate To-Do’s on it that I need to reference in order, and it’s just a swipe, and voila! It’s easy to use, and it’s just been such a great tool for me! Highly recommended!

I love the concept of what the app is supposed to do but it doesn’t end up looking right. I get the note ready but, on my lock screen, it just shows up as a tiny thumbnail size picture. It actually shows up looking like I have the music app playing in the background. I have a 6+ and it shows as a grey box with the tiny sticky note in the upper left corner, iPhone Quicky sticky next to that, the little symbol that you can tap to do airplay (I think that’s what it is anyway), and the back/play/forward arrows across the bottom. Apparently my phone things quicky sticky is a song. Is there some setting or step that I missed?

Pros: Clean and simple design, easy to use. It really is like jotting something down on a sticky note. Great that it has an option to view in the notification widget in lock screen. Cons: Doesn’t have room for a longer (scrollable) list. Limit to 7 lines. Maybe a smaller font option to add more would help 🤔... Overall a great app. If you’re looking for more than this, download a planner/task list.
