User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I only gave the app 1 star because I wasn’t sure I could review it with none. I haven’t been able to download the contents of the book I paid for for offline viewing in months so I can only use the book when I’m at home with a constant internet connection. Considering how expensive these things are you’d think there’d be better support for the app.
I was struggling with the textbook I needed to read for class. The book was electronic and organized with lots of callouts and Figures to review plus the text. Lots of “noise” and distractions, less motivating to read. I downloaded this e-reader to see if it would help - awesome. The reader organizes all content into pages. Works great on the iPad pro
They haven't updated anything or fixed the countless issues with text books not being uoloaded. Their apps are useless without this. It's been 7 years and no update. Don't waste your time. Colleges need to phase Pearson out. To them it's basically , "Thanks for your money! Good luck accessing the text tho 🤣🤣."
Impossible to study on the go without your computer! I have to work all week and I can't study during breaks because the app doesn't work. Pearson needs to really keep up to date with their apps since many students use their iPads to study.
It works fine, but it’s a little bit tricky. Just follow the instructions as given.
