PAC-MAN: Ralph Breaks the Maze

I like this game and the idea. Each unlocked character has unique maps a special power it uses to help you against the ghosts. I must be a bit behind because I paid $1.99 per unlock which I thought was expensive. I see that they were charging $6.99! Yikes! I thought the two bucks was high. There are six levels with each unlock...then you’re done.

TLDNR: Cheaply made game with bad controls and graphics that costs $100. (UPDATE: They lowered the price to a total of $20. Better than $100, still overpriced for what you get. Rest of review still stands. Increasing rating by 1-star). Long version: This is a simple pac man game with Ralph and Felix “modifying” the basic mazes by wrecking and fixing walls. The walls they break/fix don’t fit in with the maze graphics and just look horrid, as do Ralph and Felix. To make matters worse, the controls are really bad. You swipe in the direction you want to go, with no precision or responsiveness at all. This looks and plays like it was a HS programming class homework assignment that the student got a C on. To make matters even worse, each and every new 6 stage maze is $7. Yes.. this costs $7 PER MAZE. For a total cost of $98.

It’s super addicting and I suggest it for anyone that likes 8-Bit, Pac-Man, or Wreck it Ralph. The only thing that I don’t really like is that you have to buy the other characters mazes. If I get an explanation on it maybe I would understand. If you ever decide to change it I think earning the mazes could replace it. I know I sound whiny and bratty after saying that. But I’m not rich and don’t have thousands of dollars. Still a great game though.

I'm sorry to bring you this sad news, but the app wasn't developed to support these features. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have generated you.” Then why did you all reply to me on the App Store comment as if you all were going to resolve an issue? Pleas, next time when you all reply with the intention of “helping” or “resolving” an issue, do not redirect a paying customer somewhere only to NOT TO RECEIVE A SOLUTION. Please refrain the individuals whose reply as “Developer” to not reply to issues that clearly do not have a solution so that it may seem that you all are fixing an issue behind the scenes to the rest of the public.

Fun game, cute design but seriously overpriced for what you get. I’m a huge Disney World fan so I’m used to paying ridiculous prices for good quality entertainment. But seriously this app is a little too greedy, too bad because they look like cool levels. Bought one maze because my kid likes the “pancake bunny” but not getting anymore of my money. Developers should have just settled at a single price for all the levels. These kind of cash grabs seem below Disney, and are actually harmful to the brand in my humble opinion.
