Oro is a personalised fitness and nutrition app created in partnership with Loughborough University’s Sport Performance Support team - the team behind Olympic athletes and world champions. Backed by science and designed for real life. Oro has been developed using the logic practiced by professional coaches and athletes, to help anyone achieve their fitness goal in a way that is entirely bespoke to your body, cultural and lifestyle preferences and goals. Oro’s recipes are created by an expert team which includes both professional and Michelin-star chefs, foodie influencers and developed under the guidance of Loughborough’s Performance Nutrition team. Each meal is not only nutritionally balanced but full of flavour to make sure plans are enjoyable and sustainable over time. HOW IT WORKS - On downloading the app, you will be asked a series of questions to determine your current state, fitness goal, lifestyle and ability. This information is used to create tailored weekly training and meal plans. - Your workout plan will include a mix of cardiovascular sessions and weight training sessions devised by our expert Strength & Conditioning coaches. Each workout includes details of the individual exercise including a ‘How To’ video, RPE guide and how many reps & sets should be performed. - Your unique meal plan will be made up of tasty nutritionist-approved recipes created by professional chefs and foodie influencers. - Oro creates bespoke plans that you can fit to your lifestyle. In your Planner, you can drag and drop to move training days and swap any recipes to suit your needs and preferences. - The handy Shopping List function has been created to allow you to easily shop for your personalised meal plan. Shop for your chosen number of days and portions. You can even email the list to yourself or someone else doing the shopping. - Record your weight when prompted to ensure Oro has the most up to date information to create your weekly plans. - You’ll be reminded to take monthly photos along your journey so that you can see your physical progress. This can easily be found in the Progress section.
