Opcity

I’ve only been on op city for a couple of weeks and already received some great leads. One I met the following day and showed a property. Writing an offer. Would like the ability to choose the type of alert sound, even if it means using a ringtone for the alerts. It seems to be fairly new to our region, but I see huge potential. The only things that could make it perfect is to remove the price range restrictions and allow more precise mileage radius selections. Also the ability to select zip codes would be great. New agent or not, there are too many initial restrictions. Once the restrictions are lifted, I may write a new review.

As an emerging agent, I was slowly getting leads at first, but they were all rentals. For some reason, I thought Opcity was supposed to filter these out. They don’t, but you can adjust in the user settings. Most of the ‘sales’ leads are low price points and that’s ok, we help folks at all price levels. But they are not qualifying the lead over the phone properly before issuing notifications. For the last week, I have been unable to get push notices. That’s the only way to claim a lead. Don’t even bother with the sms- you will not access it quick enough and it will be claimed by someone else. In fact, even with the push notices you still will not react quick enough. Sent request to ‘support’ which is difficult in and of itself, and the issue is still unresolved. We have a rather hot market where I’m located. But when I look at my region leaderboard, there isn’t that much sales activity. They claim to be better than Zillow and realtor, but they do not provide any volume of leads and the lead quality is not good. They want to be a disruptor in the industry. Cool- do what you say you are going to do. I deleted the app and I’m not looking back lol. Don’t waste your time.

Works well most of the time. There can be some delays sometimes but not often. Opcity has this business figured out. 47 referrals thus far. 20 or so I’m working with. And I’ve turned down probably twice that many referrals for either too low of price range or being further than I wanted to be in light of their price range.

This is supposed to be the uber for realtors looking for leads yet the notification system is the worst. In theory your supposed to be a notification with sound and your supposed to claim the lead right away but realty is you never hear the ring so unless your directly looking at the phone you lose the lead. After writing to them several times requesting they have a ring they have done nothing. Even when you do see the notification and respond within the second it somehow despite your 2 second reaction it’s already been claimed by another Realtor. In conclusion this is a scam.

I love the app and the services Opcity provides. Like anything else, is how you work the leads and the app, you lose some and you win some, but what makes this great, is the consistency of the services and and the app! I love it!
