Discover the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made Mesa Verde their home for over 700 years. Today the park protects nearly 5,000 known archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. These sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the world. Visitors can stay up-to-date on events and programs happening in the park throughout the year with schedules and links to the park’s website and Facebook page.
