Store Performance Index shows overall performance of your app on app stores. It is based on combined ASO & reviews metrics.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I am a daily user of Non, often using the app more than once a day. I listen to sound meditations at my desk, while commuting, before going to bed, while reading, doing yoga, and elsewhere. This is truly the best app on my phone, because it puts you in control of your experience and encourages mindfulness beyond the screen. The diversity of sound is nothing less than incredible. Each time I use the app is a completely different experience, from the color to the sound, each is an entirely different universe. I wish there were more apps like this, that didn’t try and manipulate your experience by tricking you into using it, imposing on your mental space and free time with notifications or reminders. Not only is the functionality perfect and unlike anything else on the market, but it also is all wrapped in beautiful minimal design. Bravo to the Point in Passing team. Thanks for bringing this thing to the world!
I spent my Spring practicing at a Zazen temple near where i live. While i was there, i fell in love with the rituals they performed around meditation; and how much it enhanced the meditation itself. Upon coming back, none of the meditation apps I had come anywhere close to reproducing the deep trances of those rituals. Until I found non. The “sensory meditation” this app provides has sense become my favorite way to meditate at home - would highly recommend it
I thought there was going to be a Settings menu where I could turn off the dings at the end of the session. Where is it or when is it coming? That’s the only real negative that I have but it’s a strong negative. Otherwise, I found your app interesting and like it very much. Thanks for the confirmation. I have only one other suggestion. It would be very nice to save a favorite session as an audio file that I can use in other devices. For instance I have a light and sound wave machine (the Kasina device) that uses MP3 files. Look it up and you would see that it would be a great complement to this meditation machine. They make really nice hardware. I would like to be able to export (pipe it through) it by utilizing apps such as AUM, AudioShare or Audiobus 3. I should clarify a little bit. NON’s “live” sound would be streamed into the AUM app so that AUM can record the live stream while your app is playing in real time. Audiobus 3 would probably function in a similar way, while AudioShare might handle things differently.
I have tried just about every meditation app, and most fall short in some way or another - whether it's difficult to use, poor sound quality, cheesy guided meditations, bad aesthetics, etc. Non is simple and beautiful and creates ambient soundscapes that I completely lose myself in. It's great for the distractible meditator, but I also use it to focus while working and to calm myself during stressful commutes. Highly recommend!!
I’ve tried a few meditation apps and usually find them more distracting than they are helpful. Non is so simple and intuitive to use. The design is beautifully minimal but not so minimal it is difficult to use. The sound design is immersive and resonates calm. (Way better than listening to waterfalls or nature sounds) Non has made me look forward to meditating - I can’t recommend enough.
