Lately, every time I do a search for a trip, it stops working after one search! So if I modify something eg, the time, it just doesn’t load, very frustrating! Please fix this. Also, there needs to be the function to click on your bus/train route number within the search of the journey to be able to see the timetable specifically for that bus etc. Eg, you’ve done the search for your trip and it brings up 3 options/routes featuring different buses, etc. Why can you not simply click on the highlighted bus number to access it’s timetable? Surely that would be a helpful and beneficial simple feature for people! Instead of getting out of your search and looking up the routes, you should be able to within your search so you don’t lose your place/options for routes around the time you’re searching for.

I am sure that if you were an occasional visitor to Brisbane then having a public transport app that covered every option would be useful. But the vast bulk of us who want a quick and simple way to see what time the next bus or train leaves, do not want to be presented with these options ALL THE TIME. My needs are simple. Is it possible for me to configure the app so that I just see the train only timetable for my train line and for that’s the Redcliffe line. I cannot figure out how to do that. I sure the info is there but it’s gets lost because the app is giving me options to travel the 400 meters to Central and also showing me the timetable from Ipswich and ALL the stations in between. I have really tried to make this app work but I failed. So can you please help me? Or should I say us because others seem to be saying the same thing.

This app has been very handy for me as I’m getting used to the local bus system. However there are still some features I think should be available. The journey planner REALLY needs the option of selecting how many transfers you want or are willing to do. I.e. if you don’t want to take two buses, letting you select that option. Sometimes I’d rather walk an extra 500 metres than have to transfer and wait for another bus to drive me a minor distance. I also find when I set the journey planner it gives me complex trips when I know there are other -easier- trips I can take for the same journey. I wish on the journey planner you could select specific routes only (again, because it seems to be giving me weird suggestions and I just want to see a select few bus numbers for this journey). I don’t really find the indication of the bus journey, that accurate (along the route, so you know how early or late it will be). Would be great if you could top up your Gocard on the app. And also if the time tables were easy to use within the app, instead of having to click through to the website and download an entire timetable, when I just want a screen shot of one or two particular stops.

Your recent update has removed a VITAL and IMPORTANT part of the app that not only made it safer to use but easier and less time consuming. The “use current location” feature when planning from a start or end point. This is very important not only for lazy people like me as a time saver (it can take a while to type and find certain locations), but it is also in my opinion a safety feature that MUST be put back. For someone who is either completely lost and looking for a way home, or for others who generally know where they are but have no idea what the place is called and can’t find any helpful information (because let’s face it, not all streets have proper signage). Please for the love of god put this feature back.

Like everything with translink every change is a step backward. The new app version is no longer able to add individual stops within a larger bus station like King George Square as favourites to allow you to live track the next arriving bus services instead you have to see all the platforms and stops at that station. Also the live map now shows all bus stops on the map as a green icon instead of just the favourite stops and in a much smaller window so all you see in the Brisbane cbd is a see of green stops (even when you zoom in) and you can’t distinguish the live bus you are tracking the progress of. For some reason it also seems intent on moving the functionality in the favourites tab across to the timetable tab which begs the question why have seperate tabs? Poor effort translink.
