This app seems to be a combination of SolarEdge Monitoring and SolarEdge Inverter SetApp. I find it updates every 15 to 30 minutes consistently. Either pull down to refresh or exit the app and open it back up. It also depends on the stability of your connection - WiFi or cell for example. The success of this app is based on two things: configuration and access. The first is how well the installer configured your monitoring layout (inverter, panels, strings, etc). If this is not set up you will only see overall production. The second is if you are a home owner insist your installer give you access to the charts and layout. With that you can monitor the production of the whole system down to by panel. Technically there is a third piece. To get consumption monitoring you need to have purchased a meter that goes along with your inverter. Without that you will just get production metrics - how much energy your system generated. To get consumption you would need to do it manually with data from your power company versus real time with a meter.

Recently had my solar panels installed and was looking forward to getting the app loaded up to watch my metrics. Took a few days between when the system was online to when I was able to start viewing the different metrics, but totally worth the wait. Great to see how much power is generated each day and use it to help forecast future electric bills and determine how to best manage power usage in the house. Solid interface, as well!

This app could be much better. However it takes the app several attempts to refresh the data and one time had to wait several hours for it to refresh. It also is not correct with what the inverter shows. It shows 7600w which is 7.6kw and the app shows only 3.5kw.

The app needs to improve updating the information for customers. The app freezes for hours sometimes, data not always current.
