MusiCharts is a simple radio player and stats viewer for both iPhone and iPad. A user can login into their Last.FM music profile and choose to scrobble tracks extracted from the radio stream metadata. Once you are logged in the app will read your Last.FM profile data and will display a chart with the most recent artists you played. If you really like the currently playing track you can love it and thus add it to your last.fm loved tracks. If you like social sharing there is an option to share an infogram image to number of services like Photos, Facebook, etc. You can also set a timer to stop the player after a certain time. Connect the app with your car bluetooth device and enjoy the music while you’re driving.
User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
This app is still in it’s infancy, however it does two things right off the bat that sold me. 1. Ability to add stations with URL and title. SO easy. Now I don’t have to rely on the developer maintaining a database of streaming stations that constantly changes URL’s and eventually becomes unreachable. It’s hard work for you as the developer to keep it up to date so thank you for leaving it to us! 2. Last.fm scrobbling is straight-forward and only one other radio streaming app I know of has it. Thank you for implementing this feature! Would love to see an option to edit the stations in the future. Thanks for making this app a reality, it’s exactly what I was looking for!
