METAL SLUG DEFENSE

I grew up playing Metal Slug with my dad on the PS1. This game brings back great memories and is a ton of fun! Never had any glitches or problems and it's really addicting. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because the in game purchases are super expensive! Everything can be obtained with in game currency so it's not that big of a deal. All in all, my favorite app on my phone.

I love the enemies that are in here, so much in fact that I want them. Unfortunately, a lot of the enemies you see in the game you can't use. And I also was thinking about medals...... there is no way to get them without paying, and so since all the units you can buy come from medals, the only way to get medals is through paying. Don't get me wrong, I love metal slug, but the developers (In my opinion) have stopped improving these games. Until apple and androids surpass these limits. At the moment, it's fine, but soon, it will slow down our devices. At that point in time, well, we'll have to say bye bye to metal slug........ In conclusion, metal slug was a good franchise while it lasted and the developers cared, but now, all it is (in my personal opinion) is just a glitchy time consumer that really isn't that addicting...... - Saneeeees

Gameplay overall is fun and addicting yet , with the latest update, all my event points have been erased. Makes it harder to want to play a game that won't save your progress in all aspects of the game. It's fun at the beginning. Although the new game Metal Slug Attack is out, this game should be updated as well or at least all my stats should be able to be transferred to the other App. The mechanics of this game are slower and the game suffers from slowdown. Even the graphics are not as pretty. Hope SNK will update this App too.

I been playing this game for 3 years now and last update was way to long ago and I miss this game a lot when every time was just fun there were players all over....... but now the game is dead and mostly nobody plays it, I hope one day this game gets an update ,and people will start playing it again ,and the game also died because of MSA

Ok obviously this is a game for a person who lived his childhood playing metal slug. Yes the game crashes and has some issues but everyone who loves it (including myself) love it because it brings back so many good memories. So the value is not just in the gameplay but in the acute nostalgia that it brings to the fans of metal slug. Bottom line, if you don't even know what Metal Slug is don't bother with this!
