Lightsaber SFX

The app is awesome I sneak up on people all the time like a Jedi even though I am a Sith Lord.. They need new lightsabers! Maybe even use the force! Awesome but can be 1 on the App Store if done correctly.

The app itself is REALLY cool in the regard that the humming increases and decreases linearly to the speed of the phone. However, the sound effects need a bit of work. First off, the lightsaber ignition is kind of muffled. By having it muffled, it makes the user feel as if less power is put into the lightsaber, taking away half the awesomeness of the lightsaber itself. A clearer sound-effect will make this way cooler. In addition, the deactivation is WAAAYY too fast. Traditionally, the lightsaber deactivation is much slower. Try finding the actual sound bite for it. It'll make the app seem like the real thing than rather just a copy. Different color schemes and activation sounds (Jedi Lightsaber vs. Sith Lightsaber) also will give the user a fun twist. Aside from that, you've got a great app on your hands. Good work!

I have a super hero named Super Luke, and he is kind of like iron man. When he is in his Hoge 13(one of his suits), he has his trademark shield and the future tech energy sword prototype. When you put this app on the alien effect, it sounds so much the same! This app is great, and the paragraph above is why I rate 5 *!!!! PS, make more lightsaber apps 4 me😄!

I can't believe I am reviewing a light saber app. Shouldn't I have more productive business to tend to? The function, i.e., gyroscopic characteristics function well with this app. Saber power up and contact sound effects are good. Movement sound effects, not so good. Subtle advice: ditch the non-original sound features and concentrate on nailing down the movement affects.

This app is super fun. Me and my friends Always sneak up on each other and hit each other. We would like so much more if you added more sabers and colors and sounds!
